At the hospital
25th December

Daniel's P.O.V

I as quickly as I could picked Hollie up and ran inside to the front desk. As soon as the receptionist saw all of the blood on Hollie's clothes she immediately shouted for a doctor. Hollie's face became paler and paler.

'QUICK! It's the baby! Our baby!' I sobbed. Before I knew it Hollie was on a bed being wheeled away from me. I stood there in shock. Frozen. Watching my fiancé and unborn baby be rushed down the hallway and through a pair of doors. She was gone. I didn't know if I would see her again. She looked lifeless.

Jonah turned me around and bought me into a hug as I sobbed and sobbed into his shoulder. Everyone around us was watching the whole thing. As I looked up and pulled away from he hug I could see some peoples faces shocked and sympathetic.

A nurse took us to a patient's family waiting room. Continuously sobbing I grabbed my phone from my pocked and found Hollie's mums number. I was about to press it as Jonah took it out of my hands. I looked up at him still crying as he instructed 'I'll call and tell her, you can't whilst your crying'. I nodded and put my head in my hands sobbing more and more. Jonah called Caroline and told her everything. When he came back in the room he had tear stains down his face and red eyes.  'It's gonna be okay bro' he said to me. I had no words. I didn't want to speak to anyone. I felt helpless. Jonah just sat next to me in silence as we waited for a doctor to come back.

The door swag open to reveal Lily and the boys. They all engulfed me in a hug. Lily was sobbing and the boys had glossy eyes.
Time passed. Hours actually. With nothing. No news or update. It was now 3:15am. Silence filled the room as everyone just had deep thoughts about what had happened.

'Mr Seavey' the doctor says as he walked through the door. Everyone's heads sprung up and a tear slide down my face. 'Yes'.

'Please can you come with me' I stood up and walked down the hallway until we reached a door. I looked at the doctor in the eyes. 'What's happened? Is she okay? How about the baby?' Over whelmed by everything tears spilled out of my eyes.

'I'm afraid that you wife has had a miscarriage' as the doctor said those words a loud sob escaped my mouth as I collapsed to the floor. It mast have been loud as Lily ran out of the family waiting room and down the hallway to my side. 'T-the b-baby is g-gone' I cried. Lily's mouth that was open with shock quickly was covered by her hand as it intensely shook. Her cheeks were now covered with flowing tears. The doctor continued.

'Your wife' I looked up at I'm hopeful 'is okay'. A massive sigh of relief filled my body.

I calmed myself down before walking into the room where Hollie was. She looked weak. Frail. And lost. I walked over to her and grabbed her hand. As soon as she looked at me she began sobbing. 'My b-baby! Our b-b-baby! G-gone. F-fore-ever.' I hugged her and she snuggled into my warm chest. We cried for a while until there were no tears left in us.

'I love you'
'I love you more'
'We love you'

I decided to write a small diary entry every day so when we look back on it we can remember.

28th December

A few sad days passed. Hollie was mostly silent when we got home yesterday morning. Crying herself to sleep and staying in bed all day. Of course I comforted her because I felt the same way. But I couldn't have. Our baby was inside of her. They had that bond that couldn't be broken. That bond that's a lot stronger then a dad, daughter/son bond.

29th December

I love her so much. Seeing her like this makes me heartbroken. She has bags under her eyes that are bloodshot. Her nose and cheeks are red and raw. Most of the day she just stares into nothing. Having deep thoughts.
