Private investigator Houston sighed as he slid the envelope to Olin's eager hand, "Are you sure you want to know where he is?"

Olin slowly turned his cold killer look to him, "Positive."

Houston slightly pursed his lips, "Think about this.. You have a child to think about.."

Olin pressed his eyes as he screamed, "We! We have a child! She's going to be fine! She... She has to be..."

Houston started back in shock as Olin opened his pained eyes. "Okay Olin.."

Olin calmed his breathing and pushed away from the table. He huffed as he quickly made his way to his car.

Olin slowly crept into Cassandra's hospital room. Tyler sat next to her as he held her hand, "Please Cas.. Open your eyes.. please..."  Olin held his breath but sighed as nothing happened. Tyler heard him, and turned to look over his shoulder, "Hi... I had to come see her.. I.."

Olin slowly stepped to him, "You hoped that the sound of your voice would snap her out of it?"

Tyler turned back to Cassandra's sleeping form and hung his head as he started to sob, "I'm sorry..."

Olin's lip slightly quivered at his sadness, "I don't blame you.. I wish you could make her come back."

Tyler continued to cry, "What happened?"

Olin swallowed a lump in his throat, " The day she bumped her head, she had a small brain clot. When she was attacked in her apartment, the clot ruptured, causing a  major brain bleed." Olin stopped himself when he realized what he was about to say, "Her body is here, but... Her mind.." His eyes searched over her out of pain as he finished, "She's gone.. Dear God.. She's gone.."

Tyler covered his face as he cried uncontrollably, "No... No..."

All Olin could do was stand and cry along with him. Both men were grieving for the love of their lives.

12:08 am

Tiffany's breath shook as she handed Olin Sid's bat, "Don't disappoint us.."

Olin stared past her as he accepted it, "I won't."

The young mans chest heaved as he crawled away from the tall shadowy figure, "I didn't mean to hurt her, if she had just listened.."

Olin's eye twitched after his victim blamed Cassandra for her outcome. He raised the bat over his head, it came down on the mans leg with a sticking crack.

He screamed out in pain and he noticed his leg bone had punctured through his skin, "Shit! Oh God! Stop!"

Olin had a silent tear ease out on to his cheek, "Did she beg?" He waited for an answer. "Did she ask for help?"

The victim cried as he shook his head, "Please man.. I barely pushed her! She.. She.. Mumbled something about not feeling her right side.. I.. Thought she was fooling me.."

Olin blacked out.

When he returned to reality, he gasped at the dead, beaten, mangled body of Cassandra's attacker. He quickly blinked a couple of times as he took in the scene. He whispered as he spoke to the body, "Nobody touches her.. Nobody.. You should have known that.." He then calmly turned out of the alley and left.
