The day finally came when we could take Dustin home. I sat in the backseat with Dustin while Christian was in the front driving. We decided to take my truck at the beginning of the three weeks with an overnight trip in mind and no need to go to the hospital until Dustin wanted to come into the world fourteen weeks early.
Once home, Christian and I had to rush into the house with our precious cargo and make sure his diaper was clean and that he was fed. Officially parents in our own house. We got to completely set up his nursery and made sure all of Dustin's things were in place. Another chapter in our book has began and will only continue on as we grow as parents.
