(Hayes POV)
I threw on a hoodie as i jogged downstairs.
"I'm going to head over to Mr. Bryans house." I told my mom as i slipped my phone into my back pocket.
"Okay. Let me know how Claudia is doing." My mom said worried. "I can't believe Olivia would go out of her way to drag Claudia out of this house."
"Tell me about it." I scoffed just as my phone buzzed.

[Hayes] alr leaving now
i shut off my phone and said a quick goodbye to my mom then left.

"Where did he even go?" I asked Claudia as we sat in her dull bedroom.
"Work." Claudia said looking down at her fingers.
"Where's that?" I said as i rested my head on her lap.
Claudia shrugged.
"I'll leave here in a few hours just in case." I said and Claudia nodded.
I felt bad for Claudia. He just dragged her out of the house because her mom asked.
"Stop staring at me." Claudia said as she covered her face.
I chuckled as i shook my head. "In less then a month, we'll be 18 and you can get out of here."
"Mmhm." Claudia hummed. "This is honestly the slowest month ever."
"Seriously, but only 21 more days." I mentioned making Claudia sign.
It was silent for a minute before Claudia yawned.
"Your tired?" I said as i sat up.
"Yea, i was so irritated last night i didn't get a lot of sleep." Claudia said before getting under the covers.
I lied down next to her but on top of the covers.
