Chapter 23.

I take my phone and it looks like there are million missed calls from Daren, J, Lexi.

Before I call my uncle I need to text Ben, so that's what I'm doing.

Hey Ben! I'm home, all good, see ya tmrw.

Alright now I need to call uncle, I don't want to talk to Daren anyway. He like always is a drama queen.

But before call uncle I see the message from unknown number. I open it.

I hope you feel better today and follow Bruce's prescription. Theo.

A huge smile appears on my face. Well he is nice, but I'll reply to him later.

Now I need to call James.

I deal his number and after like a second he picks up.

"Sweetheart ?!" He says like it's not going to be me on the line.

"Yeah, hey uncle, sorry I was supposed to call on my way to work,but I forgot my phone at home and couldn't do it. Sorry and don't be angry at me. Please, please.please" I say in my pleasing tone, which always helps me.

"I'm not angry at you, but I can't say that about your brother. He is packing his bag to go and get you back home..." James inhales.

Well I already know that.

"I know, but why is he doing it? Only because I forgot to call once? This is ridiculous!" I exclaim, seating on the armchair in my room and leaning my back to its back.

"Well he has another opinion, you know him better than anyone!" He laughs.

Yeah I know that my brother acts like a drama queen all the time! And I mean it when I say it.

"He's just over reacting as always! I had a headache since yesterday evening and that's the only reason I was so frustrated all day today, so my boss send me home." I explain softly.

"Well that actually explains everything. Do you feel better ?" He asks me with concerned voice.

"Will be better after I lay down and relax my mind." I laugh.

"You need to call you brother and talk to him, you know."James says.

"I'm not going to call him, I don't want to talk to him, besides we already discussed few things yesterday." I say smirking to myself, remembering perfectly our conversation.

"You're not helping yourself right now. He is very determined to take you back home. I know better that he will do it, so for you own good call your brother and talk to him. I understand that this internship is important to you and it's your way to follow your dream. I'm sure your parents would be proud of you. I'm proud and Daren as we'll, but you need to understand that he always was and will be like this, so I suggest you once again talk to him. Don't be stubborn. Don't act like Daren." He says softly, laughing in the end.

Well my uncle is the only person that can persuade me to do thing I don't want to do. I think he has his ways with me and Daren and of course he knows about it.

"Alright I'll call him, but I can't promise to talk to him nice, he was an ass yesterday."

"Well I don't wait it from you, I'm glad that you always listen to me. Now that's that is sorted out, tell me how is work going." He asks me.
