Christmas Day Part 1

THIRD PERSON ( POV )

Twas the night before Christmas and all was well.

Not a creature was sturry, not even a mouse.

All the students of Hogwarts were in their warm beds on this cold winter night except for four.

They couldn't fall asleep,  even if they tried. It was past midnight,  although they thought it wasn't.

Something was bothering the male.

He had a surprise for the female but was worried for the result.

He had it all planned out for her, for she was his true love.

She lay next to him, thinking about him.

She had bought him a gift.

It wasn't much but she knew he would love it.

She could feel him staring at her back and wanted to turn to him.

But she was worried.

For she knew a secret.

And she did not know if he knew this secret.

This secret may hurt him if he knew.

And she wouldn't want that.

Ever.

Hermione's ( POV )

I could hear Draco breathing softly and muttering little things here and there.

I wanted to turn on my back to look at him but I was worried.

His cousin, Caroline, isn't normal.

I knew that. But I don't think he does.

It could hurt him if he knew.

And I don't want that.

Ever.

But I manned up and turned onto my other side and met his eyes.

I couldn't help but smile at his perfection.

"Hey. " he mumbled,  obviously tired.

I don't blame him.

I am too.

"Hi." I said yawning.

He mimicked me and yawned.

His hand touched my waist and I felt his thumb stroke my side gently.

We were inches apart and I could smell his green apple breath.

I leaned in and kissed him softly on the lips.

Even though it was a soft kiss, it felt like rockets were soaring through my body.

I pulled away and smiled at his smirk.

I felt his muscle tense as he pulled me closer to his body.

I felt his crotch against mine and I felt warmer.

Our lips were practically touching but our eyes never left each others.

"I love you." I whispered.

He kissed my lips gently and whispered "I love you too, love."

I smiled as I wrapped my arms around his neck, pressing my chest into his.
