SAPH had been the one to realize Gally was playing them. She didn't say a word, because, after all, she was playing them too.
She was supposed to go into the Maze, but she never did for an unknown reason, and she watched as her world crumbled away when her friends left without her. But she got a message saying if she played on the act, she'd be released - so she did just that, acted like she'd lost the glue that held her together.
Gally was released with her, both playing the act that they'd finally snapped - both side by side. They stuck together, being the closest thing they had to friends and familiarity, they refused to leave the other when the opportunities presented themselves.
The two were all the other had in the apocalyptic world, and they knew that. But they took it for granted, because when Group A showed up, she had begun to lose it - and this time she wasn't faking it.
