MARIA HILL preferred desk jobs. Yes, she was exceptionally good at field assignments, but that didn't mean they were her favorite. Getting your ribs bruised was no one's favorite.
However, that didn't stop Nick Fury from assigning her to one. The Supernatural Division, SHIELD's newest one—and she was the first agent to go into it.
Her first mission: track down the Winchester brothers and figure out what happened to Agent Perez. Dean Winchester and his brother, Sam Winchester, were at the scene when Agent Perez went rogue. So far, all SHIELD knows is the possibility that she's with a rogue terrorist group, or lost her mind, and has been spotted committed doing violent, tyrant acts—completely unlike the Agent Perez Maria knew.
However, things took a turn when Maria was caught up in a mess of vampires and beers, and her almost successful mission went haywire before her eyes.
Little did she know, that was the least of her worries, and being stuck with the Winchester brothers was the least, as well. No one knew what truly happened to Agent Perez, and they didn't know they'd opened hell upon themselves in the act.

→ agent perez is possessed by a demon! she was talking with the winchester brothers, investigating them, when she got possessed, leading s.h.i.e.l.d. to think they did something or they know where she is.

→ maria knows the bare minimum about the supernatural world, just enough to get her by. but, she quickly adapts, but things to catch her off guard, like lucifer, castiel, etc, because angels are very shocking.
