After the night when she'd found out Peter was Spider-Man, she was itching to tell him what she could do, but she knew there would never be the right time. No one needed to know a forgettable secret.
But when she accidentally loses control for a moment, and it leaves a girl she'd never met with a minor inconvenience, Peter sees it, and Adeline knows he did. Soon, Adeline's forgettable secret wormed its way into their trio, creating cracks in the brightly colored paint of their lives.

→ adeline's ability has to do with memories, in a sense. with age, it got stronger, and sometimes hard to control, especially with her emotions. she can make people forget what she wants them to, change memories, and manipulate the mind into thinking what she wants it to. very powerful, very dangerous.
→ in the end, hydra (which is the organization!) kills her grandmother, who is her guardian. hydra wants to use her like a weapon (like they did with the winter soldier), and adeline realizes that they'd kill everyone close to her, so she decides to become "forgettable." new identity, everything. no one remembers who she is
