(L. b.)
I knew you were a poison pill,
A profound danger,
A ticking time bomb.
I knew the end, right from the beginning.
I saw you for what you were;
A wrecking train,
A broken soul.
Yet still,
I grabbed that glass of whiskey,
And gulped you down.
You were a poison I was willing to take.
Even though I knew fully well,
My heart was headed for destruction,
I am ready when you are.
For now, I'm going to sink in my cushion,
Gulp down my whiskey,
And pleasure myself,
In your intoxicating effect.
