(The Rain)

The sun shine,
Stodgy, with all it's rays;
The greatest sign of my weakness.
The rain was more than just a vision;
I visualised what has now turned out to be my soul purpose for living.
Dancing in your thunderstorms,
Soaking wet from each droplet descending beautifully,
Carrying a message carefully crafted from your heart.
I envisioned quenching my thirst,
From your never ending well of love.
Drinking from the streams of our blossoming hot romance.

Even the air I breathe,
Has been intoxicated by this very vision;
It's no wonder I'm slowly dying.
Your clouds started to fade,
And your rivers stopped flowing.
Unwrapped your storm,
To bring out the sun.
Dying of thirst,
I crawled on my knees,
Into the shadows where I hid.
A star needs the Darkness to shine.
So in the dark, is where I reside.
In here,
Even death,
Can't do us part.
