Hero-ic

I always tell myself,
I'll party less, and focus more.
But at the end of the day,
I find myself back on these streets,
I've once roamed one too many times.
It's a merry go round,
A freaking maze.
But sadly, I was never good at running.
I don't know how,
I'm supposed to be the Hero of my own story,
when I'm stuck,
too busy,
Playing the Villain.
So now I lay back on these walls,
Patiently waiting for karma to catch up to me.
I'm done running this mile I know I can't win.
I know my judgment Day is coming;
I can hear her fast approaching.
She's coming for me.
Karma's coming to get me.
