(D. k.)

I keep hearing them whispering.
No! They are talking loudly.
Very loudly.

"You thought you could be happy?"
"You thought you could escape dead King?"
"Hahaha, there is no redemption for you now."

I'm tired of running;
My feet are frozen sore.
I'm tired of hiding;
My hiding spots are getting low.
It's as dark as I remember;
Pitch black darkness.
Where is it?
Somebody tell me,
where is it?
It was just here;
My redemption.
And now, it's gone!
Once again, I'm stuck here;
Darkness surrounding me,
In the middle of nowhere.
I could hear the agony of my heart,
The bleeding was still there.
The scars,
The taste of defeat.
All alone on my dark throne,
Eating off my own flesh,
Drunk in my own blood;
It was sour, cold, bitter, but fresh.
Close your eyes, look around you,
That's all I see now.
Chains on my hands,
Bruises on my back.
Pain, that's all I feel now.
