The stars didn't always have all the answers,
But everyday I looked up to it,
Because it was my only way of being free,
To wonder my limits beyond the thousand seas.
Hoping that if I died today,
My soul won't freeze,
But reach for the heavens,
With a hallelujah sliding off my lips.
Burning with desire,
That my soul does not consume in the lake of fire,
At the end of this road my search for redemption,
Has inspired me to take.
I do not seek forgiveness,
But total repentance of heart.
Lie me in an ocean of poetry,
And float my soul away in its never ending tides.
Apathy, flee from me.
Let me not cast away my hurt,
By hurting those who mean the world to me.
The resilience of these piercing pestilence,
To penetrate my heart is sorrowful.
Relinquishing my terror,
I proclaim out loud, I'm terrified.
To fight all my demons that haunts me,
Leaves me embalmed in fear;
Mummified.
In fear, I summon courage to face my undoing's and misdeeds.
A silent wish to get the answers to all my questions,
Leaves me face up towards the heavens,
Gazing at the stars.
