Chapter 1️⃣8️⃣

(V's POV)

Aisshhhhh...why did he have to notice this?... I thought sighing as I sadly put the cup of noodles down, placing the chopsticks on top of it.

“It is nothing.” I said through the bond, hoping my voice sounded sincere enough.

“What do you mean it's nothing? Yahh I felt what you wer-”

“What?!” my eyes went wide as I stared at Jungkook, not being able believe what I ears had clearly heard.

“I was telling you just that...ahh... yeah well I felt the pain you were going through...what happened? I wa-”

My mind went blank after that and I just stared at Jungkook, guilt written all over my face.

“Jungkook” I said his name out loud, “I am sorry...”

The doorbell ringing stopped me and I watched as Jungkook got up to see who is at the door.

“Yah pabo I was worried about you... what happened back then?” the sound of a male voice reached my ears.

Curious, I got up and went to stand near Jungkook's bedroom door, making sure to hide behind the door, to look at the person.

A short pink haired guy was talking with Jungkook.

“Nothing hyung... I'm okay.” Jungkook replied, clearly nervous but the guy did not notice.

“Yeah? Then I'll just go- wait... Did you just call me hyung?” the guy replied, staring at Jungkook with a shocked face.

“Yeah...” Jungkook replied.

“Okay...now I'm sure that something is definitely wrong.” the guy answered and after pushing Jungkook aside, started walking towards his bedroom.

Where I was.

I quickly moved away from the door. ahhh I have to get away... I thought while walking towards the balcony ready to spread my wings and fly out.

But that never happened.

My wings did not come out.

And as I turned around towards the bedroom door that was slowly opening, I could only imagine what horror both Jungkook and I would have to face.

(Third person POV)

“Yah Jimin noo!” Jungkook shouted out as Jimin raised his hand to open the door.

God I hope V had enough time to fly out.... Jungkook could only think nervously as Jimin entered the room, Jungkook following behind him.

Just when Jungkook entered the room his eyes went wide when he saw V still standing there, looking as scared as Jungkook.

“Hyung I-”

“So what has been bothering you?” Jimin asked as he plopped down on Jungkook's bed.

Jungkook and V stared at each other, both of their mouths open. Both of them wondering exactly what happened.

“Yah pabo? Why are you staring at the balcony with your mouth open? You eating air?” Jimin asked.

“Woah?” Jungkook asked, averting his gaze from V who is frozen in his place, “What are you talking about?”

“Have you gone mad or something?” Jimin asked.

“I- can't you see anything?” Jungkook said, looking at Jimin curiously.

“See anything? What am I supposed to see? Aiishhh this kid...yah I think I'll go mad too if I stay here for any longer...I'm going...bye.” Jimin said, annoyed, and got up to leave.

Jungkook turned towards V, who was still frozen near the balcony, “What just happened?” Jungkook mouthed.

“Aiish why are you looking that way?” Jimin asked.

“Uhh?” Jungkook said, turning around to face Jimin, “I was just seeing if it'll rain tonight or not...ye-yeah.”

Jimin just gave him a weird look and with a quick ‘bye’ he left Jungkook's apartment.

“What just happened? He can't see you?” Jungkook asked as soon as Jimin closed the front door.

V just stared at Jungkook's face, “What?” Jungkook asked again when V didn't speak.

“I-... I am sorry Jungkook-ah...”
