Our Everlasting Love

"Honey! Guess what!" Daniel said after he finished a call. I sighed watching the film which was playing on TV.

"Leah! I'm talking," he said and I looked at him. He sat next to me and I placed my head on his shoulder and asked him to continue.

"Guess what!" He repeated. I looked at him and asked, "What?!"

"Guess!" he repeated. 

"Daniel! Just tell me!" I yelled. 

"Okay, fine! Calm down! Geez!" He whispered.

"Okay! My parents talked to the school and I am going there tomorrow. Also, they are sending Rachel and some of my friends with me to keep me under control. They know that I can easily go out of control when it comes to you," he said and kissed my forehead.

"Who is that Rachel?!" I asked feeling a little uncomfortable.

"Why?! Jealous?" He said teasingly.

I looked away from him and he turned my eyes on him and then said," God bless my possessive baby. Don't worry! She is actually my friend. You talked to her that day if you remember."

"Oh! Now I do," I replied smiling as I remembered the conversation. It was a weird one but funny.

"I won't go to school, so you don't have to," I helplessly whispered.

"Why's that?!" He asked.

"I don't want to see that guy again," I honestly replied as I felt awkward again.

"Me neither, but you know I can't allow him to keep thinking that you're his mate. Plus, I have to show you that there's nothing to fear as long as I am near you," he explained. I sat straight and looked at him in the eye and then whispered, "Baby, I know that I should never be scared with you next to me. I also know that there is no need for me to think twice about that. There's no need to prove anything to me."

"I'm doing that for both of us, Leah!" He said. I looked at him again and saw how serious he was and how angry he was. I sighed and smiled looked down at his lips. He looked at mine and then I moved closer. I pressed our lips together and for some reasons I felt so confident. I have always been confident around Daniel but that time it was way different and I knew it.

When we let go, I couldn't help but think about what made me feel that way totally forgetting about that small detail of reading minds. I sighed and smiled.

"My mark allows you to feel my emotions, but only those who are in common. This is actually why you felt it doubled. Don't worry! Soon you will get used to it," he explained and I smiled.

"Okay, I guess!" I whispered with a smile. He smiled back and then kissed my lips sweetly.

"So we will go to school tomorrow and the party after school?!" I asked and he nodded and hugged me tightly.

"Just stay near me at the party. I guess by now you know how possessive and how dangerous I am," he chuckled smirking and I simply nodded.

"Yeah, I assure you. I know," I said nervously and hugged kissed him. He smiled and kissed back.

"What time is it?!" I asked with a smile.

"Seven o'clock, why?!" He asked back.

"I wanna meet your friends," I stated.

"Now?!" He asked and I nodded feeling excited.

"You'll meet them tomorrow," he replied and I shake my head no. He looked at me and I then said, "I wanna meet them today just to feel less awkward tomorrow. Plus, I have already talked to Rachel, so I have all rights yo see her. Please, I will tell her to come."

"Baby! You will see her tomorrow, I swear," he repeated chuckling. 

"But I don't wanna see her tomorrow. I wanna see her now," I yelled frowning. He rolled his eyes at my childish behavior.

"Fine! But you call her," he whispered with a smile.

"Okay, get me your phone," I ordered. He reached for it and gave it to me. I smiled and kissed his cheeks. I opened his phone knowing quite well that the password was my name and my password was his name.

I opened it and found of each other as a background. It was few years ago. I smiled and then thanked him for keeping it. He smiled and kissed me on the cheek. I smiled and then an idea crossed my mind. 

"Let's change it! Let's take a new photo and put it. We have each other now so let's make new memories," I suggested. He smiled and nodded.

I fixed my hair and sat on his lap. He put his head on my shoulder and I opened the camera the selfie position. I smiled and took a photo. I put it as the background.

"Perfect! Now let's call Rachel," I whispered and pressed contacts. I reached the R section and pressed on the name Rachel. It started ringing and I put her on speaker. Few seconds had passed before she picked up.

"Hello?!" she started.

"Hey, Rachel! I'm Leah," I said with a smile feeling excitement running in my veins.  I looked at Daniel who had a smile on his lips. The happy feeling was doubled and I knew he was happy from that.

"Leah! Daniel's mate! Hey! What's up?!" she asked immediately.

"Nothing much! So what are you doing?!" I asked.

"Playing games with Zach, the guy I told you about and Asher my brother. What about you?!" she asked.

"See! She's busy. She can't come over," Daniel said.

"What?! Hey, Daniel!" she greeted.

"Hey, Rachel! So, Leah here wanted to see you and she wouldn't shut up until I called you," Daniel replied. I rolled my eyes.

"Oh! Actually I can come over with the guys. You know they were dying to see the girl who captured our alpha's heart," I blushed as she said that. What does alpha mean?!

"I know, but do your alpha a favor and leave him with the girl who captured his heart," he said rolling his eyes. Now I really need to know what it means, but I can ask later.

"No! Don't say that! Please, come over!" I said.

"Come on, Daniel! You can't just ignore the four of us for the rest of your life," she advised.

"Okay, fine! I will send you the address," he said obviously bothered.

"Okay! Bye, Daniel! Bye, Leah! We will be there in exactly twenty minutes," she said excitedly and I was excited also.

I smiled and hugged Daniel thanking him. He smiled back and kissed me on my lips. I, of course, kissed him back and that is how we spent our twenty minutes of waiting.
