Our Everlasting Love

"Sweetie, wake up! You'll be late for school," mom said as she,started waking me up. I was surprised that she was the one waking me up. I got used to Daniel and his sexy voice waking me up. I sighed and smiled at mom before saying, "Can I have some more sleep?! I am tired," I replied with a yawn.

"Gosh! Did Daniel allow you to sleep in?! Wake up, Lolo! You're already late and you're mate is waiting for you to pick you up, so be ready," she replied and I just rolled my eyes and woke up. I wasn't really excited for school knowing that I would have to face Paul but seeing my mate made me excited.

I got up and bathed quickly. I changed into some clothes and brushed my hair. I was in a hurry. I didn't want to leave my mate waiting.

I went down quickly smiled as he came into my sight. I threw myself in his arms as I missed him so much. It was only few hours. But I was used to being next to him all the time by now. I was thankful for having my parents too, but I missed my Daniel.

"Aww, easy there, sweetie! I missed you too," he said and I smiled as I looked up at him because of our height difference. I peaked his lips and then said, "I missed you!"

"I know, now, let's feed you, and then head to school," he said as he carried me to the table. My parents were there already being all romantic as usual. I was glad that they weren't effected by time. That always gave me hope. Daniel sat me in his lap and then mom said, "I love this. I really hope this lasts forever."

She was on dad's lap as he fed her and I was on Daniel's. I smiled and then said, "Same!". Dad looked at me and my mom and then said, "I have been trying my entire life to tell you that nothing lasts forever."

"There's a forever," mom argued. I smiled and then said, "Yeah, why do you say otherwise?!"

"Because, sweetie, that's life. A forever is always cut by either death or many other factors," dad said and I felt Daniel sign.

"Well, a forever isn't a life lasting. Because, even after death parts people they start to live in their loved one's hearts, so there is a forever, and you are my forever," mom said and I found myself left at aw. I was about to say something but I saw my parents gttting closer and then I saw black.

"Who switched off the light?!" I asked as I waited for my eyes to adjust. I heard my parents chuckle and I rolled my eyes realizing that it was Daniel. I felt a hand on my face and then I took it off with a glare towards the owner who was really known.

"I am not three," I said rolling my eyes. He chuckled and then said, "You are to me."

"I am not, plus they kiss all the time, I have seen that before," I replied with an eye roll. He looked at me and then said, "And I wasn't there then! Let's just continue our meal, and that weird conversation about a forever. Okay, so, I don't believe there is a forever. I mean, a forever in that case would only bring pain. Like, if I was ever gone, I would most likely wish for Leah to find someone else to take care of her. I would probably hate them but if it was for the best, then I can't deny that I will be happy for her. At some points, a forever isn't what we need."

"Oh, and in that case a forever is what I want," I replied with an eye roll. I hated Daniel when he talked like that.

"Look, sweetie! At some points, a forever isn't what we need, but it's what we want. I don't think someone will make Leah as happy as you do, and no one will make me happy as my beloved one does, you see, that's not the way things go, you guys are our forever and I bet we are yours to, so yep, there is a forever, " mom said and I smiled proudly and said," Exactly! On point, ma!"

She smiled and then said, "I got a lot under my sleeve, sweetie!". She smiled and I smiled back. I looked at Daniel and then said, "You see, sometimes what you need isn't what you want, and I don't think I will ever get over you and I don't even wanna think about it, so let's just quit it. We have school so let's eat!"

He sighed and nodded. He was probably speechless and my parents were already making out. Daniel started feeding me and I couldn't help but look at him all the time. I loved him so much. We started eating together and all the time I couldn't help but think about how much he was thinking about me. How much he actually loved me. He was so selfless when it came to me yet he was so selfish with me too. I couldn't understand how could he be like that.

We continued eating and we were soon done. He stood up and then put me on the ground. I got my bag and then we started walking to his car. He opened the door for me and I smiled and thanked him. He smiled back and then he started the car. We made it to school. We both stayed silent as no one wanted to say a word.

His words were still playing in my mind. He wanted me to move on after he..... That would never happen. I couldn't even bare the thought. I wanted Daniel to stay forever at least I wish I would die before he does. I wasn't strong enough to go on and I didn't want to go through that pain in the first place.

We made it to school in no time. We went out and then I found Rachel and Hannah waiting. They were both so worried. They hugged me tight as soon as they saw me and I almost fell.

"We were so worried," they said in a unison and I titled my head to the side. That was when it striked. The last time they saw me was in that party and it didn't get pretty with Daniel and Paul. I couldn't believe I was about to face him again. I sighed and then said," I am sorry, I should have told you before leaving. It was just too...too messy."

"Yeah, I could imagine," Rachel said with a smile. Daniel was already talking to the boys and left us girls some space. I knew that it wasn't too much as I knew that he was probably hearing my thoughts.

"After you left, Paul finished his speech and then he went out. I thought he was going after you so we followed but he was already gone," Hannah said and I nodded with a sigh.

"I am sorry, I couldn't stay by your side with Travis and all," I said with a weak sad smile and hand gesture.

"It's perfectly fine," she said with a weak smile. She looked at Asher and then she looked at me and then said, "It got a little messy but it's nothing major."

"She doesn't like him anymore," Rachel said casually. I looked at her wide eyed and then Hannah said, "Hey, no, it's just..... He wasn't what I expected."

"Oh," was all I had in reply. She shrugged and then looked at me with a wide smile as she said, "Now, what's more important is you! How is your parents and all?! Can I visit today?!"

"You know my parents, you're always welcome to come over," I said with an excited smile and then I turned to Rachel and said, "You should come too. My parents will absolutely love you."

"I will think about it," she said with a smile but she seemed a little off. The first bell rang and we started heading to class with the boys walking behind us.

"Rachel, I want to have a word with you," Zach said and I gave her a questioning look. She sighed and then said, "Save it for later. I don't wanna talk about it now."

Zach sighed and then said, "I am well aware that you will never want to talk about it!"

"Maybe that's for the best," she said with a sigh. He looked at her as she looked at the ground, and then said, "It's no good for it to be best. You have to understand that avoiding me won't do anything. You will just be upset talking will set it right!"

"Just leave me be," she said and he sighed and left. She looked at me and then said, "Forget that happened!"

"You sure?!" I asked and then she sighed and nodded. I guessed it was pretty serious but I knew better than pushing her. I smiled and then said, "It's okay, just know that everything will be fine."

"I hope so!" she said returning my smile. We walked to class and so far my day was good, no drama no shit, but I was well aware that it wouldn't last like that. I just know that as long as I have Daniel it wouldn't be as bad.
