She opened the door and turned on the lights. Her apartment was cute and simple. It fit her perfectly.
"Make yourself at home." She said and motioned for me to follow her into the kitchen. She grabbed two glasses down from the cabinet. I noticed some pictures on her fridge.

"Oh my gosh, is this you?" I asked looking back at her. She blushed and nodded.
"Yup from grade school."
"Wow." I said just gazing at the picture for a moment.
"Wine?" She asked.
"Sure."
We made ourselves comfortable on the couch and just talk for a while. She told me more about her family back in Chicago. She even grabbed a photo album and shared some other pictures and funny stories about her life before she moved to LA.
"Do you ever miss home?" I asked.
"Chicago is no place to be. Crime is just too bad there. I've been trying to get my parents to move here for years but it's their home." She sounded saddened by it. "They're getting older and I want to take care of them but they're still trying to take care of me." She smiled. "My dad pays for everything even though I have a decent job and can take care of myself. He says once I get married then my spouse can take over but until then I'm still his baby girl."
I smiled. "I think it sweet, shit I wish my parents had been that cool. Once they found out I like girls, well, that was all she wrote." I said.
Amelia gazed at me for a moment, with a sweet smile on her face. She sat her glass down, straddled my waist and began to kiss me. She kissed my lips, nose, cheeks and forehead.
She stood up in front of me.
