Chapter 32- Exciting Nerves

Natsu POV

After I woke up this morning I headed to the hospital to return the keys to Gray. Levy and Gajeel were there as well, none of them were too happy. To be honest, Levy was looking a scary. I didn't stay to find out what the problem was because I had other things to deal with.

I made my way home hopping dad wasn't there but of course I was expecting too much of him. Dad stood in the kitchen cooking something but I just walking straight to my room at the back of the house. He is probably never going to leave at this rate if he is already making himself at home. Quite frankly its no longer his house but what ever.

I hope that at least dinner at Lucy's tonight will go fine. At least I'm not here. What will we talk about though? I can just imagine an awkward silence between the three of us. Lucy wouldn't have told her father about our engagement but that would be a touchy subject that's probably not to be touched.

Erza POV

"Hello sensei" I say as I enter the Dojo for my next practice session. But I don't see Jellal anywhere.

"Hey beautiful" Jellal says coming up from behind and hugging me.

"I wish we could stay like this forever" I say turning round and kissing Jellal. Its been so nice not having to worry about holding back my feelings for him.

"Well, I was thinking that you and I should take tonight off and head back to my place for dinner. Maybe"

"I don't know, I might want to do practice today" I jokingly reply.

"Well too bad because your coming with me anyway" Jellal grabs my hand and drags me outside. After locking up the dojo we head out to his car and head off to his house. I've never been to Jellal's house before. This is somewhat.......exciting.

Lucy POV

I only just finish doing my hair when the door bell rings. I practically run down to the front door just to make sure I get there first. As I open the door I see the pinkette teen I'd been waiting for.

"Hey" Natsu says to me with a smile. He stands before me in a long sleeve button up shirt that has the sleeves pulled up and straight black dress pants.

"You clean up nicely" I giggle will embracing him in a hug and then motioning for him to come inside. I take his hand and begin to guide him into the dining but he stops me mid-step.

He holds both my hands and stares into my eyes. The heat begins to build in my face. "You look beautiful" He then pulls me forward into a kiss. When we pull away, I look down in embarrassment and happiness.

I quickly continue to guide him through my large house to the dining room where my father is already seated at the table. "Father, Natsu is here"

Dad gets up from the table and makes his way over to us. Natsu must be nervous because he has tensed up. Next thing I know Dad has extended his hand to Natsu for a hand shake which Natsu gladly returns. "Natsu, we met for a not so great reason. Would you agree that we should maybe start again?"

Natsu nods his head in agreement. I just stand there in shock, I have never seen dad act like this. Don't get me wrong, its good, but its weird. "I fully agree with you sir"

"Just call me Jude" This is going to go greater than imagined.
