[The team (minus Natasha) and Loki rush inside the S.H.I.E.L.D. base]
(The Agents look at them like they’re crazy)
Tony: (To the agents) Where is Agent Romanoff!?
(Some of them shrug)
Steve: (Runs up to a group of agents) Any of you seen Natasha!?
(They shrugs and walks off)
Thor: (Taps an agent) Have you spotted our lady spider?
(He shakes his head, confused)
Bruce: No one’s really paying attention to us…
Clint: (Frowns) I’ve noticed.
Loki: Sooo, what do we do?
Clint: (Walks over to a table and picks up a handgun off of it) This. (Shoots it at the ceiling making a loud bang)
(The agents shout and look at Clint, confused)
Clint: (Puts the gun down) Ahem. Now that I have everyone’s attention…Where is the friggin’ Black Widow!?
(Coulson walks up with some papers in his hands)
Phil: (Looks at him) You said Black Widow, right?
Clint: Yeah.
Phil: (Bites lip and looks down) We um…we just found her dead.
The boys: WHAT!?
Phil: (Laughs) I’m kidding. She’s in her room. Why didn’t you guys just look there in the first place?
Loki: I have no idea.
(The guys rush upstairs to Natasha’s room. The door is closed and locked)
Tony: Clint, do you have a key to get in?
Clint: Yep. (Pulls out his access card)
Steve: Hey wait, can’t we be more civilized and just knock? What if she’s naked?
Tony: (Smirks) All the more reason to go in without knocking.
(Clint rolls his eyes at Tony and swipes the card, unlocking the door)
(The six of them walk inside, but don’t see her. A cop show is on and Natasha walks out of her closet with a cup of tea in her hands, singing along with the show’s theme song)
Natasha: (Singing) Bad boys, bad boys…watcha gonna do? Watcha gonna do when they come for-(looks up and sees them)…Um, what the heck?
Thor: Hello, Romanoff.
Natasha: (Waves slowly) Uhh hi…What do you six want?
Tony: First of all, did you get Barton’s message?
Natasha: The messages before you guys called? Yes.
Bruce: We mean the message after that.
Natasha: Not that I know of.
Steve: WHAT!?
Loki: Well, this is not going to turn out well.
Natasha: What’s the problem? (sips her tea and sits on the bed)
Tony: (Sighs) Remember Cameron Ramirez?
Natasha: (Nods) Yep. Clint’s freaky ex-girlfriend.
Tony: Yeah, she sat with us at lunch today because of Thor.
Steve: And then she told us that we need to get over our obsessions with you, which is crazy because we don’t have an obsession with you.
Bruce: Then she said she was going to come over to one of our houses.
