Derek and I take a seat in the chairs across from Mr. Harris. Harris nods at Derek and he nods back. "So Madison Hale..." He trails off grabbing my file. Derek crosses his arms as I look at the ground awkwardly. "So Madison, well she's...she's a bit of a troublemaker" Harris starts off and Derek scoffs. "Shocker" He says glancing at me.

"She shows up to class late a lot of the time. She doesn't study and doesn't do her homework. I think it has something to do with the home situation" Harris says honestly making Derek sit up. "What do you mean by 'home situation'?" He questions slightly offended. "Well I mean... what I'm saying is...the lack of authority figure" Harris clarifies making Derek lean forward. "I think I'm doing just fine considering our parents are dead." He snaps leaning even more forward with a glare.

Harris clears his throat awkwardly as Derek still stares at him. "Forgive me. I just think if you helped keep her on track she would have better grades and get into a good college" Harris tries saying and Derek nods leaning back in his chair and crossing his arms again.

"I've also noticed Madison talking a lot in class instead of doing work. She seems more worried about other things than class. Most of the people she talks to are like Mr. Stilinski, Ms. Argent, Mr. McCall, and Ms. Martin" Harris explains as Derek narrows his eyes at me. I smile sheepishly at him before he turns back to Harris. "So you're saying I need to forget everything I'm doing, even if it's saving our lives, and isolate her from everybody else?" Derek questions suspiciously. "Well no not really" He says. "Then what are you saying?" He asks. "I just want her to excel and she can't do that if she's not focused" He explains. Derek nods before standing up.

"I think we're done here" Derek tells him with a glare and he quickly nods standing up. I stand up as well and follow Derek out of the classroom. "Well that went well" I say as we walk down the hall. "I don't like your teachers" Derek tells me. "I'm not a big fan of them either" I nod. We spot very angry Argent's walking down the hall trying to get a hold of someone.

Derek and I look at each other confused but walk out the door to find Allison and Scott getting yelled at by their parents. Where have they been? I suddenly get a sense of something and Derek quickly looks at me. "Something's here" He tells me. "The alpha?" I quickly ask but he runs off. "Wait! Derek!" I yell after him as a girl screams. I run down the stairs using my senses.

People start running around the parking lot in panic as I try and catch sight of this thing. I walk towards the parking lot as I watch something run by. I look at Scott and see his eyes flashing their golden color and know he was trying to see what it was. But wait wasn't he with Allison? I look around in a panic to see her running backwards as a car was headed right down where she was headed. "Allison!" I scream running towards her. I push her out of the way and next thing I know I get flipped over the car.

"Madi!" I hear as I groan in pain. Someone drags me out of the street and I see it's Derek. "Hey, it's just me" He reassures me. "Oh my God! Madi you're bleeding" Allison panics running towards me. I had a huge headache and I feel Derek remove his hand from the back of my head in worry. My head was bleeding. Next thing I see is just black.

My eyes slowly open as I feel a hand in mine. I look over to find Derek staring at me with worry. "Der.." I say and he kisses my hand. "It's okay Madi. I'm here" He reassures me with a nod. "What happened?" I ask him. "You were hit by a car at the parent teacher conferences." He explains. It all starts coming back to me.

Something was running around the parking lot and Allison almost got ran over but I saved her. "Allison! How is she??" I quickly ask. "She's fine. She was just in here a little bit ago" He tells me and I sigh in relief. "So did you find out what was running around the parking lot?" I ask him curiously. "It was a mountain lion" He tells me.
