"I should get going." You said to John when it was clear no one else was going to be arriving.
"Ok, Let me get my coat. I'll walk you back." He said as he went to get his hat and coat.
"I don't think you'll need to." You said as you rushed down the steps and opened the front door.
"Why not?" He asked as he jogged down after you and saw you struggling you to shut the door.
"We're snowed in..." You said, he rushed to help you shut the door again. "What're we going to do?"
"Well, I could you do." He muttered, grinning sheepishly when he realised you'd heard him.
