When your heart is gone
You will feel as though things
Aren't the same and never will be
Constantly
That feeling, always looms in the back of your brain
You will feel as though you are always scared
As though colour has left you
Then you will stare
Always confused
Always feeling pain where your heart once lay
You'll find yourself stop making Christmas lists
Feeling as though no amount of cute animals and ice cream will make you smile
God I swear I feed off the pain I feel
When I see someone have a really good friend always there for them
I've been mourning the feeling of being alive
I am drowning in my mind
Some say it's so sad
Others think they understand
What it's like when your heart is gone
But they don't
They aren't lifeless beings
Honestly
Sometimes it's like I'm dying
And that's okay
