JISUNG SIGHED, RUNNING A HAND THROUGH HIS HAIR. HE'D JUST SAT DOWN AT THE PUBLIC school library computers, begrudgingly ready to start working on his science assignment. He knew he wouldn't be able to get any work done with his parents constantly looming over his shoulder in search of any mistake they could point out, so he settled for the next best possible option.

The chair to the computer next to him was pulled out, and the strawberry-blonde looked up for a brief moment before absentmindedly turning back to his own screen, fingers hovering over the keyboard in an attempt to find a good place to start.

"Wow, that's cold." Jisung looked up again, blinking slightly in shock as he turned to face Jaehyun, who sat next to him with a smirk. He peered over the younger's shoulder, and grimaced. "Why would you stay after school for that?" he scoffed, and the other shrugged, turning his attention back to his assignment.

"Maybe because no one's supposed to bother me when I'm here?" he shot back playfully, causing Jaehyun to place a hand to his heart in mock-offence. "Come on, I wanna show you something." He gestured out the door with his head, to which Jisung shook his head.

"I have to work, man. Sorry," he shrugged, and Jaehyun frowned. "Live a little; it'll only take a minute, I swear." He raised his hands in a sign of peace, and the strawberry-blonde bit his lip, hesitating. Just as he was about to shake his head, Jaehyun sent him a pleading look.

"Please," he begged, and Jisung sighed, shoulders slumping in defeat. It'll only take a minute, he reassured himself, before logging off of the computer and swinging his backpack over his shoulder as he followed the older male out of the library.

He was led down a barren corridor, eyeing his surroundings in slight confusion. He wasn't sure if this hallway led to anything in particular, and he'd never even noticed it beforehand.

"Where are we going?" he questioned with a raised eyebrow. "Your minute's almost up," he stated jokingly, and Jaehyun stopped abruptly, causing the younger male to nearly run into his back.

He took a step back by reflex, and Jaehyun turned to face him, his facial expression. "S-So... what did you want to show me?" He tilted his head to the side gently, trying to escape the intense look the older male was giving him.

Jaehyun took a step closer, and another, until he'd reached Jisung. The boy looked at him nervously and confusedly. "This," he whispered, before grabbing the other's arms and bringing him closer, crashing their lips together.

Jisung resisted, his eyes blown wide in shock as he attempted to pull away, but the older male was surprisingly strong. Tears welled in his eyes, and he stumbled backwards as soon as he was released.

His back came into contact with the wall, as he raised his hand to his mouth, staring at Jaehyun in shock. "W-What... why?" he whispered, and Jaehyun scoffed, before a cocky smirk presented itself on his lips.

"Because we're obviously good for each other," he rolled his eyes as he explained it, as if he was explaining it to a child. "I'm not ga–" The strawberry-blonde began, before being rudely cut off. "Right. You think I don't see the way you look at him?" he spat, causing the younger male to straighten in shock.

He stalked towards him, and Jisung flinched, cowering away from him. "I'm so much better than him, why can't you see that? I'm not a freak." Jaehyun continued, lifting the other's chin with his hand.

"N-No," Jisung stumbled over his words, and a different kind of emotion took over Jaehyun's face as he slammed his hands into the wall on either side of the younger male, causing him to jump.

"Just admit it already." He scowled, and Jisung shook his head, swallowing thickly. "I'm not gay," he stated with a tone of wavering finality, and Jaehyun clenched his jaw before backing off. "You're pathetic," he hissed, before angrily storming down the hall.

Jisung's chest rose and fell, his heart slamming against his rib cage. He blinked rapidly, trying to chase away the tears that had invaded his eyes. He let out a quivering breath, squeezing his eyes shut. He leaned his head backwards, biting his lip; he could only hope that nobody had witnessed what had happened.

That would be bad.

Minho lounged around his room, sighing inaudibly. He'd already tried to do his homework, but he just couldn't focus. He sat up, scratching his head lightly. He had nothing to do except homework; most of his days had passed by in a blur – especially the previous year – and he'd dropped any hobbies he'd had long ago.

He could still remember the feel of the piano keys under his fingers, and the beautiful sound of – no. He clenched his teeth and abruptly stood, hurrying over to his door. Maybe I'll get a snack, he thought, shrugging to himself.

He paused slightly when he heard muffled voices coming from the room across from his. He was about to move again when he caught onto a familiar name through the small crack from the not-so-closed door.

"Hey... have you noticed that Jisung's been acting weird lately?" Felix sighed, and he faintly recognized the second voice in the room. "Yeah, I didn't want to say anything, but..."

"I don't know what's going, and it kinda hurts, 'cause I'm his best-friend... he's never kept anything from me before." Minho winced; he was pretty sure what Jisung had been hiding wasn't something recent. Or that it had to do with him.

What he doesn't know won't hurt him, he concluded; even after all this time, he'd hardly changed after all. He ignored his bitter conscience, and moved away from the door, guilty for eavesdropping. Although... he couldn't help the pinprick of worry that had started to grow in the pit of his stomach.

Is Jisung okay?

Q: How long have you dreamt of being a writer?

A: I've been writing for approximately four years (it's hard to believe so much time has passed hA), but I'd say the dream really settled in about three years ago. It's not a hobby anymore, it's a passion ;)
