JISUNG'S EYES LIT UP AS THEY LANDED ON THE CINEMA THE TWO WERE WALKING TOWARDS. "THIS IS awesome," he giggled, and as they blended into the crowd of people waiting in line to get their tickets and popcorn, he slipped his hand into his lover's.

Minho looked down at him with a small smile for a moment before they continued to progress through the line. Their hands had drifted apart as they stepped forward to the cash, and Minho had – once again – insisted on paying.

"Minho!" Jisung whined, pouting slightly, because he just felt bad that the elder was the only one paying. The brunet shook his head with a smile, and the two headed towards the designated theater. They'd decided to watch the new action movie that had recently been released.

They settled in their seats, popcorn placed securely in Jisung's lap. Before long the lights had dimmed, and the theater had filled. Minho interlaced their hands, and stuffed his second in the popcorn as the commercials started rolling.

Jisung leaned his head on the elder's shoulder, eyes focused on the movie. Minho, however, could only focus on his boyfriend. A small smile crept up his lips with every laugh and facial expression that pulled at the strawberry blonde's face, and he decided that this alone was much better than any movie he could've seen.

"Did you see that? The way he just grabbed the sword and threw it across the battlefield!" Jisung ranted excitedly, bouncing up and down as he talked about the movie. Minho just nodded, because really, he hadn't seen that. He hadn't seen most of the movie, as a matter of fact.

After a few more minutes of his enthusiastic babbling, he calmed down, slipping his hand into Minho's, because that was definitely one of his favourite feelings ever. He was hoping that this wasn't the end of their date, silently praying that he could spend at least a little more time with his boyfriend.

He kept quiet, though, observing the elder as they continued to walk, pleased when it was in the opposite direction from their houses. "What do you want for takeout?" he questioned suddenly, and Jisung tilted his head in thought.

"Pizza!" his eyes lit up, and Minho chuckled and nodded, pleased with his choice. "Pizza it is," the two walked for a little while longer, chatting about this and that, until they finally arrived at the best pizzeria Minho knew.

"This place sells the best pizza," the brunet explained, and the younger male scratched the back of his nape sheepishly. "I've never tried it," he admitted, and Minho gasped in mock outrage. "We're definitely changing that," he mumbled, pulling his boyfriend inside.

"So what do you want on it?" The brunet questioned with a raised brow. "Cheese?" Jisung chuckled softly, and a relieved expression crossed over his face. Perfect. Minho had secretly been hoping that he'd choose cheese.

"Good, I was worried you'd want something weird like pineapples on your pizza," he wrinkled his nose in disgust, and Jisung blinked, shaking his head. "Pineapples on pizza are good, thank you very much." Minho's jaw dropped, and he openly gaped at his boyfriend.

"No, I refuse to accept this," Minho sniffed playfully, and Jisung rolled his eyes, ignoring his comment and dragging him over to the counter to order their food.

"Where are we going?" Jisung whined, trudging along beside Minho, who insisted they go somewhere other than the pizzeria to eat their large cheese pizza. The brunet only smiled, and the younger's eyes lit up when he noticed their park come into view.

Once they arrived at the hill where they'd confessed to one another, they settled down on the ground. This was by far his favourite part of the date, no doubt about it. He leaned into Minho's side, taking a slice of pizza in his hands.

"Cheers," he grinned, causing the brunet to chuckle and bump their pieces together dramatically. After a few comfortable moments of silence and enjoying their food, Minho stood up, stuffing the last bite of food into his mouth, wiping his hands on his pants.

"What're you doing?" Jisung questioned curiously, confused eyes following his boyfriend as he approached the big oak tree looming over the hill. Minho beckoned him over, and Jisung put the rest of his slice back in the box before he scrambled behind his boyfriend.

The brunet took out a small pocket knife, and simply smiled upon noticing the younger's puzzled expression. He switched his blade on, and began to whittle away at the bark. Jisung's eyes shone in realization, and a goofy grin took over his face.

L.MH + H.JS

The strawberry blonde held out his hand, and Minho gently placed the carving tool in it. He began to pitch in his own contribution to what he deemed a masterpiece, taking his time to chisel an intricate heart around the messily etched letters.

When he was done, the two took a few steps back, admiring their work. Minho's arms wrapped around Jisung's waist, body itching to feel the younger at his side. He looked down at him from the corner of his eye, the proud gleam present in his brown orbs, the dopey smile playing on his lips, the way the soft autumn wind ruffled his hair with the gentleness of a thousand caresses.

He never thought he'd be able to feel the way he did for anyone. But standing there on that shielded hill, in front of that oak tree where they'd carved their names, an everlasting symbol of their feelings for one another, he found another way that Jisung had defied every expectation he'd had before him.

It may have been too soon, it may have been ridiculous, but he realized that...

"I love you."

Q: If you don't already plan on pursuing another career -- or maybe you want a plan B for the future -- would you consider pursuing a career in writing? And if so, would you publish LGBTQ+/SAGA books? (courtesy of OCT0617)

A: Why y e s o f c o u r s e I w a n t t o w r i t e . And honestly, I definitely think there should be more LGBTQ+/SAGA books actually published. But personally I think I'd write anything -- whatever best fits my story, really. I do think I would write other genres other than romance, too, but we shall see 😂

Lots of love,

~Junnie

P.S: Fun fact; I hate popcorn. I can't even smell it or my stomach starts acting up it's so disgusting 😂
