JISUNG FOLLOWED BEHIND MINHO, KEEPING HIS EYES ON THE GROUND. HE DIDN'T KNOW where they were headed, but he didn't really care. He was too caught up with the fact that Minho wanted to take him out. A strange smile spread across his face, and he suppressed a giggle.

This is going to end terribly, and he knew it, but one look at the older male was enough to make him want to do it anyway. "It's just down here," Minho turned abruptly, leading down a small, narrow street Jisung had never seen before.

He observed it all, mouth agape in wonder as he took sight of all the small shops that shared a similar theme. Minho pulled open the door to what appeared to be a small cafe, and made a dramatic gesture with his hand; "After you," he grinned, and Jisung noted that he always wanted to see Minho smiling like that.

The two entered the warmly lit cafe, taking a seat in an empty booth in the back of the shop. "I come here a lot," Minho began, a small smile gracing his lips. "It's like an escape, a little piece of paradise," he chuckled, and the younger male couldn't help the giddy feeling that soared throughout his chest, because Minho had shared something special with him.

"I can see why," he smiled, observing the amazing, ethereal decor. "Thank you... for bringing me here, I mean." He smiled nervously, resting his hands on the table as he eyed them almost shyly. Adorable, the brunet thought, and he was just unable to stop smiling.

The older male reached out and patted the top of his head, before retreating his hand just as the waitress arrived, holding her notepad. "Minho, it's been a while. How've you been?" she questioned softly, and he smiled, noticing the taken aback look she sent him.

It was understandable; Minho had always come here when he was sad, or when negative thoughts threatened to consume him again, but around Jisung, it was like they'd all vanished into thin air. "I've been good," he replied, because in that moment it was true.

"Jisung, what do you want?" He returned his attention to the younger male, who fidgeted uncomfortably. "Uh... I'll have a salted caramel mocha, please..." he mumbled, cheeks stained red in embarrassment. "And I'll have the regular brew, two milk, one sugar, thanks." With that the waitress left, and Jisung raised an eyebrow at the older male.

"How boring, Minho," he teased, to which the older rolled his eyes. "Have fun with your high blood pressure," the older scoffed, earning a snort in return. "I will," Jisung shot back, eyes squinting playfully. A few moments passed before the two broke out into a simultaneous fit of giggles.

When the two finally stopped chuckling to one another like complete idiots, Jisung's eyes fell on Minho's smiling lips, and he swallowed nervously. God, how much he wanted to kiss him again.

He shook his head lightly, telling himself to snap out of it. He was back to staring down at his lap, biting his lip. What am I doing? He thought, blinking slowly. You know how this is going to end. He'd end up hurting himself – and maybe even Minho in the process. The thought was unbearable.

He didn't want to be the cause for Minho's smile to fall.

A hand was gently laid over his own, and he jumped slightly, eyes snapping up to meet the other's. "Are you alright?" he questioned, to which the younger nodded, smiling slightly, but it felt incredibly forced.

Jisung just... didn't want to be forced to let go of the boy in front of him.

"Well, my house is this way," Minho stated as they stopped at an intersection, and although Jisung already knew this, he nodded anyway. "Yeah..." he mumbled, and Minho stopped walking, gently gripping onto Jisung's sleeve.

"I'll see you later?" he questioned, to which the younger nodded wordlessly. The brunet smiled, and just the sight of it made the younger male return it. Minho leaned in, gently landing a short, sweet kiss on Jisung's cheek before he pulled away, waving slightly as he began to walk down the road.

Jisung stood there, eyes wide and jaw slackened for a few moments, before his hand came up to touch his cheek, face ablaze. What was that?! He almost shrieked, his heart flipping around in his chest.

He wished he wasn't so elated by such a simple thing as a kiss on the cheek.

Q: What's your favourite part about Christmas?

A: The atmosphere, really; I love just sitting down in front of my Christmas tree, looking out through the window at the snow and writing, in my sweater and fluffy blanket, feeling all cozy.

Lots of love,

~Junnie
