JISUNG KNOCKED ON THE DOOR, SHIFTING HIS WEIGHT FROM THE BALLS OF HIS FEET TO HIS ANKLES. Moments later, the door opened, and a smile automatically floated onto his face. He felt as though he hadn't seen his boyfriend in ages, when in reality it was merely yesterday.
He could never get enough of Minho, and that was a painfully scientific fact. "Hey," Minho smiled, and Jisung grinned as he stepped into the house. "Hi." The door was closed behind him and he took off his shoes, following after the brunet until they sat down on the couch in the living room.
A movie was already waiting to be played, a bowl of buttery popcorn placed on the coffee table. His parents had gone to a wedding that day, and Felix was at yet another one of his sports practices, so he had the whole house to himself – and he decided to make the most out of it.
They settled down on the couch, and the strawberry-blonde wasted no time in cuddling right into his side; he'd discovered that he was very much a snuggle bug when it came to Minho. The brunet wrapped an arm around his waist, and reached to grab the bowl, placing it in his lap as he clicked play on the movie.
It was – of course – an action movie, and within moments they were entranced in the flashing images and strangely complex storyline. "Oh, come on," Jisung grumbled when the main protagonist now held his lost love in his arms, and they were kissing. Ew. "I thought this was supposed to be an action movie, not a romance movie," he whined, and Minho turned to him with a raised brow and a smirk.
"Déjà vu, hm?" Jisung tilted his head in confusion before his eyes lit up in realization, and he covered his face with his hands. "Oh my god," he groaned, and Minho chuckled, gently tugging his hands away and resting them on his waist.
Jisung sat up straighter, face stained crimson. His eyes travelled down to his lips before quickly averting them; he swallowed thickly, his gaze slowly going back to meet Minho's. Every trace of playfulness had faded from his eyes, and Jisung almost felt intimidated by the intensity of the passion behind them.
"W-Well," he chuckled nervously, breaking out into a cold sweat. He didn't want to make the first move and embarrass himself, because what if there was a popcorn kernel wedged in his teeth, or what if Minho was just staring deep into his eyes with that – that look just for the hell of it?
"The weather's nice, isn't it?" he mumbled, cursing himself for being so awkward all of the time. Minho snickered, before slowly leaning in. "Yeah, it is." He didn't leave any more room for stupid rambling, instead capturing Jisung's lips in his.
The strawberry-blonde's world exploded in every vibrant shade of colour he couldn't really see behind his closed eyes, and just like it always did whenever Minho kissed him, his brain was reduced to an irrational, useless pile of mush.
His hands raised to cup the brunet's face, hoping that his boyfriend could feel how much he wanted this, how much he wanted him. It was funny, how the person he'd least expected to make a difference, took everything he ever knew, and showed him something so much better.
He realized with a sharp jolt of elation that this was their first kiss as a couple. What had he, Han Jisung, ever done to deserve someone like this? They pulled away, chests heaving. "I... I love you so much," the younger whisper, to which Minho's eyes brightened slightly as he smiled.
"I love you too," Jisung felt his heart stop, and he grinned, looping his arms behind his boyfriend's neck and pulling him back into a kiss. Everything else around them faded away, because nothing else mattered.
Until something did.
"Holy shit."
A/N: Sorry I've been super inactive this week. My motivation for like everything (including writing, which sucks) crawled into a hole and died. It just hasn't been a good week, so I kinda forced myself to start writing this chapter to hype myself up, and bOOM back in the zone I am (I'm getting so frickin' excited the best parts of the story that I've been waiting to write since the beginning are coming up and oooOOHHHHHHH), so I'll probably be going back to my regular stream of updates as of now! Sorry to keep you guys waiting almost a whole week ;-;
Q: Do you wear shoes in the house?
A: No disrespect to those who do, but nO why tf would I ever wear shoes in my house? Slippers I understand, but shoes go outside and get dirty; my mom would probably kill me if I got dirt all over her floor.
Lots of love,
~Junnie
