"MR. HAN," JISUNG'S SCIENCE TEACHER CALLED AS SOON AS THE CLASS ENDED. ALL THE students hurriedly slipped out of the room, eager to get to lunch. The strawberry-blonde nervously approached his teacher's desk, biting the inside of his cheek.

He'd submitted his assignment a few days prior after constant work, and a lot of Minho's help. He finally felt as though he understood the subject at hand, though, which he was ecstatic about. His teacher smiled proudly, before handing the assignment back to him. "You did an excellent job, Mr. Han. You should be very proud," he said kindly, and Jisung looked down at his mark, eyes growing wide.

A+.

"Oh my god!" he practically screamed, before promptly closing his mouth in embarrassment. "Thank you so much, sir!" He bowed before the teacher dismissed him with a laugh. Jisung clutched his paper tightly to his chest as he travelled down the hallways.

"Well you look happy," Felix commented as he fell into step beside his friend. "I am." Jisung grinned, eyes crinkling in the corners. It was refreshing to see his best-friend so happy, Felix thought, as a small smile of his own stretched across his face.

They were soon joined by Hyunjin, and the trio began to make their way down to the cafeteria. Jisung was practically bursting at the seams, joy radiating off of him in waves. Anyone who looked at him could feel his happiness, and soon many people were smiling too.

That's when Jisung spotted Minho, walking down the hall towards them, eyes kept on the ground. Without thinking twice – or at all, really – the strawberry blonde broke out into a run, leaving his two friends behind.

He jumped on Minho, who stumbled back a few steps, wheezing in shock. "I did it!" he squealed, and the older male smiled down at him, lightly petting the top of his head. "Good job," he praised, and the two didn't notice how quiet everything had gotten until Felix stepped up to them.

"What's going on?" he questioned, eyebrows furrowed as Hyunjin stood behind him, awkwardly shifting from foot to foot. He smiled slightly when his eyes met Minho's, and Jisung coughed as he slowly let go of the older male, embarrassed.

"Well um... Minho helped me out with my project, is all," he mumbled, scratching the back of his head sheepishly. Felix glared at his brother with a discontent frown. "If you were struggling, why didn't you ask us?" he asked accusingly. "Because–" Jisung began, biting his lip nervously.

"We're your friends." Felix cut him off, and Hyunjin winced slightly at his tone of voice. The strawberry blonde cast his eyes to the ground, biting his lip harder. "Hey, Felix, it's fine–" Hyunjin attempted to intervene, but it fell on deaf ears.

"Stay away from my friends," he spat, staring Minho down. Glaring at the two, he stomped off. Hyunjin glanced between the two brothers, before bowing his head at the brunet and hurrying after Felix. Jisung's eyes had filled with tears, because Felix was angry with him.

Sure, he sometimes got annoyed, but he'd never glared at his best-friend in such a way before. Minho patted his shoulder. "He'll cool down, don't worry," he mumbled before he walked in the opposite direction, hands shoved deep into his pockets.

A lump formed in Jisung's throat, because he knew it wasn't a matter of cooling down. He had to choose; Felix, or Minho. If he went after Minho, Felix would never forgive him, and he'd stay angry; but if he went after Felix, Minho wouldn't talk to him anymore, because the younger male was obviously agreeing with his friend.

Dammit! He cried, wiping his eyes with his sleeves. How could he choose between two people he cared so much about? He took a deep breath, before heading outside. He needed to clear his head a little bit.
