a forest.

Trees.

I was wearing a long black sheer dress. I still had on my ugly old pair of converse on. A stump lay in the middle of everything.

No don't go near it.

A gut feeling.

Touch it.

his voice.

I turn.

"Who are you?" I speak softly.

I'm your answer to control.

His voice was soft. I couldn't make out his face. But he was quite muscular.

"What's your name? I need you to help me now!" I exclaim.

m.. a.. i.. l

l was all I understand.

Who would name their child Mail?

He slowly vanishes a smirk upon him.

"Come back!"

I yell feeling a sudden pressure on my head.

"Kayla wake up!" I scream at myself holding my head down.

"Wake up!

"WAKE UP!"

I felt the sweat cold dripping down my pale forehead. My breathing had increased, my chest pumping up and down frightened me.

I saw Scott and Melissa. "You passed out at Deaton's and we thought it we should just bring you home." He explains looking at me oddly.

He was quiet.

He didn't wake me.

I did, myself.

"Uhm. Y-Yeah I just I can't control anything right now." I spoke softly.

"I told my mom." He spoke. I look up instantly.

"When I found out about scott I didn't really want to believe it. But i realized that he's still the same person. And I'm sure you are too." she places her hand on my knee.

I shake my head.

"I'm not." I slip out of her grip and walk up the steps of the house and into a small room she had set up for me.

I'm not the same person.

I watched my parents murdered. Everything was different.

I'm not colorful anymore.

It's all dark now.

I pace around my room.

Change Change Change.

Control Control Control.

I slap the small mirror in the room frustration ran through me.

"Kayla." There was knock at my door.

I walk over opening it forcefully.

"Yes?" I ask annoyed.

"I can help you." Scott's voice was soft.

"I don't need your help. I can control it myself." I say bitterly.

"I understand that your whole family just passed away but that's not my fault. I'm trying to be family and be here for you." He explains.

This didn't change my mind.

"No you don't understand. And you will never understand. Be here all you want, you will never understand what I feel inside." My statement was pretty clear, with that I shut the door locking it.

Everything I have is colorful.

Time to change that.

I open my backpack taking out all my floral clothes and jeans.

Yuck.

I look around the room.

Black Dye just happens to be here.

I walk over to pick it up.

The only colors I need are white and black.

Time for new designing.

__

The next day

The sweet green apple juice spurts into my mouth. the swirling taste of my orange juice mixing with the sour goodness.

"Kayla! You're gonna be late for your first day!" I yell up the long steps.

She emerges from her room.

My eyes slightly widen.

She wore a white slightly loose crop top, showing more than she should.

It reaches around her belly button.

Leather jacket, high waisted black ripped jeans, combat boots and her hair let down.

Her natural curls flowing. She had her old black backpack clung to her back.

"What are you wearing?" I ask a little taken back. She looks down at her shoes.

"I know they're old." She smirks.

"We aren't leaving until you change into something that covers all body parts." I stand there crossing my hands over my chest.

She does the same.

"Looks like we aren't leaving."

Damn it.

"Fine. Just today. Tomorrow be decent." I shout making my way toward the door.

"I can walk by myself I don't need a babysitter." She spits loudly walking behind me.

"I don't need to be a babysitter either." I roll my eyes.

Her attitude was horrible.

She lifts her finger up pointing it slightly toward herself. "Have fun on your piece of crap!" She yells before zapping off in mid air.

She had disappeared.

"Kayla!" I exclaim loudly.

Too late.

I groan.
