the sudden stop of the vehicle made us all jolt forward but stopped once our seat belts locked.

Stiles pulls off to the side of the highway.

It looks to be around midnight.

"What happened?!" I exclaim as the outside of the van begins smoking.

"Stupid car!" Stiles yells jumping out to go check the engine.

We were already in Gilroy.

just an hour or so away from San Francisco.

"We're busted." Stiles smacks the car.

"Maybe not." I say.

I slip off my my sweater throwing it to the side.

My dad taught me a few things about cars, I jump out looking at the engine along with the boys.

"You hit something, idiot." I say.

"I'm sorry I don't know anything about cars, h-how are we gonna fix this? It's already midnight and there are no cars driving through." Stiles says defensively.

"Okay uhm I can try. I use to take auto and my dad worked at a auto shop for a good ten years." I explain.

"Go ahead." Stiles says rubbing his forehead.

I get to work bending over trying to get a better view of things.

I pull my sleeves, my hands dig in not caring if I got dirty.

I pull hard.

a bone like razor shaped blaze came out.

"S-Stiles?" I gulp.

Everyone came quickly over to me.

Robin, Gabriela and Lydia had all gone looking for some type of help while me Liam, Stiles and Scott stayed behind.

"We didn't hit anything, something hit us." I state turning to them showing them the piece.

"What is this?" Scott whispers.

"G-Guys do you hear that?" I whisper listening in closely.

"Kayla get back." Liam puts a defending arm blocking me from what was ahead of us.

I close my eyes and began glowing my eyes.

I could see better.

"Someone's over there. Something." I say.

I push Liam's arm getting in front of him listening in closer.

I heard growls from behind me.

They were shifting.

"Stiles. Get in the van." Scott orders.

I heard Stiles feet shuffle before the van door was shut.

"Kayla, stay here." Liam orders.

"No." I say simply still looking ahead.

"Both of you. Stand back." I felt the power starting to burst from my fingers.

I began forming a ball within my fingers, a ball of power.

My eyes were glowing there usual purple sparkly black color.

a tall boney creature appears out of the forest trees.

"Bones don't fear me why fear them." I mumble to myself trying to boost my confidence.

I zap throwing a large amount of power into the creature.

I held the power there, a strike in the sky just attacking it.

a booming purple blue color spiraling into it.

I felt light wind blow my hair back, I felt powerful.

"KAYLA STOP!" Scott's voice rang.

But I felt powerful.

The feeling was amazing.

But someone was there.

Not liam and scott ..

but someone else.

"KAYLA STOP!" It was Liam this time.

before I could stop I saw shadows emerge from pure darkness.

My body gives out, I tumble to the ground feeling week.

so much adrenaline was pumping through me I hadn't realized something had slashed at my leg, deeply.

my leg was torn.

something.. more like a someone.

I shriek in pain, tears of pain flowing out of my brown orbs.

I felt bodies rush to me.

various ones.

Liam's scent was all that I could smell.

I felt a body hold me, sitting behind me to prop me up.

My head on their chest.

"Kayla, it's okay I got you I got you." Liam says pushing hair out of my face.

He was the one I was laying on.

I shriek again, someone was trying to heal it.

"stop! He's coming, he's coming!" I exclaim loudly not knowing what was coming out of my mouth.

I saw something.

And I knew it too well.

"Kayla who's coming?" Scott asks, him and stiles were at my torn leg.

"I-I-H-He's alive."

"Kayla who?!" Scott exclaims.

"Conner." I was barley able to say his name.

I saw him.

his red converse visible.

I felt myself drown in a pool of complete darkness before I could see the reaction of all their faces.

He won.

[a/n] alssooo, I type Conners name with and E because 😂 I don't want ya'll to think of Connor Franta even though I used his last night as Kayla's dads original last name. I just needed to spice things up.

Cause O's are so Connor.

And E's are where it's all at 😂🙌
