I walk down the pebble path. Gabriela needs rest, and so I dropped her off home.

I was alone now.

I walk down the sidewalk the beautiful sun out.

Oddly.

Sabrina was on my mind.

She was beautiful, an amazing mother.

God.

Why did this have to happen to her?

"Hey stranger." I heard the sudden voice come from behind me.

I turn slowly only to be greeted by Robin.

"Robin?" I chuckle turning my full attention toward him.

"How are you?" He asks standing by me as we begin to walk down the street together.

"I'm fine. How are you?" I ask grinning ear to ear.

"Perfect, now that am with you."

Ouh. He made me blush.

"Shut up." I giggle.

Not just any giggle, that annoying giggle that tells boys 'I'm hitting on you'

Shit.

I look away shifting.

"So uhm wanna go watch a movie, eat some ice cream, look at the clouds." He chuckles glancing at the sky.

"I'd love that." I smile up at him.

His hazel bright green eyes almost glowing.

He was beyond gorgeous.

__

later that day

"Where is she?!" Liam paces back and forth through out the house.

I roll my eyes.

"I told you. She left with Gabriela a few hours ago. Probably ditched Gabby and left with Robin." I joke making him glare at me.

"That's not funny scott. I told you I did see them together!"

He proclaims.

"I'm kidding. She's not that stupid. She wouldn't go out with him. He's a ladys man. a perv and jock ugh." I puke a little at the thought.

"Well where ever she is I'm going to find her and bring her right back! Why is she out so late anyway?!" Liam yells out.

Was he jealous?

"It's only 7." I look at my watch.

"Stop worrying she's fine! Why are you such a worrying person Scott? People don't find that attractive okay?!" He yells out again.

he says pointless and useless things under certain situations.

One of his many stupidities.

"Liam, do you like Kayla?" I chuckle.

If I was going to find out sooner or later might as well find out right now.

"N-No. I-I just c-care about her. and her safety." He nods not even convincing himself.

"You're lying." I say simply.

He plops down on the seat next to me.

"I don't know what it is. I don't know what the hell I'm feeling Scott." He shakes his head chuckling softly.

"She's different. Really different. I can tell her anything, just the thought of someone else telling her it's gonna be okay makes my stomach turn. She's my anchor Scott." His whisper was sincere, truthful, heart warming.

"You love her." I pat his back.

He looks down at his fingers not denying it.

"I can't. I haven't known her for that long." He shakes his head.

It didn't matter.

"Soulmates can meet in a day and fall in love that same day. Romeo and Juliet my friend .. my point is, It's never too soon." I say.

Was I actually encouraging him?

Ugh.

"Thanks scott." He glances at me slightly.

I hear the door knob move the laughs coming from the outside.

She wasn't alone.

the door swings open revealing Kayla and Robin.

"Robin?" Me and Liam both say bitterly.

"Hey Scott." Kayla grins uncontrollably.

"Liam." It slowly fades.

"Kayla." Liam whispers awkwardly.

"So Robin." I interfere.

"Scott McCall." He grins at me.

we had an intense stare down.

Robin was quite buff for his age.

he was only 16, a year older than Kayla.

But it still bugged me.

"Kayla go upstairs." I demand.

"Okay." She grabs Robin's hand and begins walking.

"Hell no. I mean just you." I stand up breaking them a part.

"Scott." Kayla growls.

"Robin. I think it's best that you head home." I point at the door.

He rolls his eyes but manages to give me a steady nod.

I watch him turn and head out the door.

Once he's gone I turn toward Kayla.

"Are you nuts?" I bark.

"I think that was the best thing you have ever done." Liam laughs leaning back in a brown leather chair.

"Shut up!" Me and Kayla both growl down at him.

He holds his hands up in defense.

"For your information. He's very much my friend and nothing was gonna happen." Kayla says to me, calmly.

"Nothing? You sure about that?" I interrogate.

"Ugh! Why don't you trust me!" She exclaims.

Were teenagers this ignorant?

well were we?

"Kayla. I'm just trying to be protective. Be a good person, I don't want you near him." I state making myself clear.

"This isn't fair." She breaths out.

"Life sometimes isn't fair sweets, now go to bed." I say pointing up the steps.

"It's only 7." She groans.

"Well then go play. Do something!" I yell.

She shakes her head and runs up the steps to her room.

"Teenagers." I roll my eyes plopping down next to Liam.

"I should get going home." He whispers.

"Stick a round. Come on." I plead.

"C-Can I ask you for some advice?"

Great. There was no doubt this wasn't about Kayla.
