my back slides down the wood, the white paint chipping already, my dark brown curly locks following along. The tears clogging up my throat.

I couldn't hold it.

they pour out of me. the unattracted feeling taking over.

"I hate you Conner! Hear me I hate you!" I yell loudly throwing a hair brush that had been scattered next to me across the room.

"Kayla, are you okay?"

I cover my mouth the muffling noises still audible.

"I just I can't go to school." I cry again.

I ran home after everything.

It's too much to handle for one day.

I'll be eating ice cream all week.

"Kayla, what's wrong?" Scott's voice was beginning to make me cry even more.

"I-I just don't really want to talk to about it right now. P-Please." I cry sniffling uncontrollably.

"Okay .. I'll be back later. Love you." He whispers.

I continue to cry but manage to whisper back,

"I love you too."

I nod to myself bringing my head to my knees.

"I did it because I love you both. But I love you so much Liam. I love you so much." I whisper crying to myself.

Finally admitting it.

"She was crying? She has a soul?" Stiles asks actually shockingly.

"Stiles!" Lydia smacks his chest.

"I'm sorry, Scott. Please tell us more." He says sarcastically glaring down at his 5'3 girlfriend who he had loved every since the 3rd grade.

"I need to see her after school. Poor baby." Lydia touches her heart making a pouty face.

"She didn't seem to want to talk to anyone. Who knows what happened." I shrug.

I want Kayla to trust me as much as she loves me.

"Hey guys." I hear Liam's husky deep voice from my side. He was holding hands with Brooke.

I never really liked her but as long as it's not Kayla there.

"So where's your little ... Cousin." Brooke smiles falsely making me roll my eyes.

"Home. She felt sick." I explain not needing to give her the best explanation.

"Oh who rejected her? I saw her leave quite .. well not very happy this morning. Might've seen a tear or two." She laughs at Kayla's own misery.

I saw Liam tense up. His hand clutching harder to Brooke's.

"Why should we tell you?" Lydia steps up before I could say anything.

"Oh just curious. I mean I've always been part of this little group." She smiles not so convincingly.

"You have never been part of this group." We all say in unison.

Even Liam, who was suppose to be on her side.

She was seriously getting on my last nerve.

"Ugh whatever." She rolls her eyes.
