This is the fourth instalment of 'The One' series. It will be following Evangeline's younger brother, Jason through his senior year of high school.
This book will focus on a variety of topics such as domestic abuse, substance abuse, family dysfunction, and illnesses such as depression, cancer, and epilepsy.
I created this series to share the stories of the silent victims of the topics mentioned above. In hopes to crush the stigma surrounding them.
This series includes:
Book 1: The Silent One
[a story about a girl with selective mutism and PTSD, arriving in a new town after serving time for grand theft auto.]
Book 2: The Broken One
[a story about a womaniser and his unresolved traumas, commitment and abandonment issues that have left him emotionally stunted.]
Book 3: The Precious One
[ A story about a teen girl, her anxiety disorder, forming new friends and her first love.]
Book 4: The Guarded One
[The story of a boy who has lost too many people, struggles with his need to be there for everyone, and his addiction that sends his life into a spiral.]
Book 5: The Fallen One
[the story of a man moving through the five stages of grief while navigating life with his young daughter. It spans from when he was in high school until after collage.]
