The Lighteners have come back.

The once long gone saviours of the Dark World had finally reappeared with a shine of hope.

But the tale of their betrayal was never forgotten.

"Y/N." A sturdy voice asks for your attention. You tilt your head to the direction of the call, as soon as you witness Mel, the leader of your group, you kneel down as a sign of respect.

"You're the chosen one." The fellow Lightener had announced to you. You take a moment to process the given news.

"Me? Why?" You ask. You were a down-to-earth person, it was no wonder why your tone of voice speak so lowly of yourself.

Mel plants her hand on top of your head gently. "My child, you should not question your purpose." She helps you stand off your knees and made you look at her piercing eyes. "You must seek the King of Spades and reason with him."

Mel holds your hand sensitively. "We're here to create peace and not war so if you may please,"

"Talk to His Highness." The head tells you, practically pleading for your affirmation.

You nod. "I shall try my best." You bow down to your authority as you monologue, "I ask the Angel for guidance."

By then, you bid your farewell as you went off to a journey to search for your people's lost harmony.

The road was vast and extensive as you stroll along the path that was given to you. Your expedition to attend the king's kingdom was quite difficult than you thought.

The royal guards has searched for these Lighteners that were forbidden to be in their territory. The word has gone like wild fire, burning the forest with its scorching flame. You had to remain unseen by anyone from the kingdom. Left and right as the time ticked and the world continued, you had to find a hiding spot before anyone sees you.

Luckily, this didn't last long. You have reached your awaited destination. You feel at ease as soon as you got to the place. You no longer have to hide behind the bushes that cause you to itch.

You take a step forward to claim your unexpected arrival when,

"Halt in the name of the king!" Boomed the voice of a knight.

'Crap.' You think to yourself, drawing your sword up.

The set of guards surrounds you. You were outnumbered. "Lightener, stay where you are." One instructed.

You did not let your guard down. "I mean no harm! I would only like to speak with the king." You tell them with a hint of plead in your voice, showcasing your amity.

"The king has no time for the likes of you after your unforgiving betrayal." One bitterly states. You click your tongue and furrow your eyebrows but you had to maintain a convincing aura.

"Look, it wasn't betrayal! We can expl-"

"Silence!" You were rudely cut off by a knight, pointing their weapon's edge towards you. These guys weren't polite at all. "Surrender or we will be forced to charge our weapons."

You raise your hands up in conciliation. "Okay, okay." You walk closer to the direction of the main knight. The moment they lower their sword. You strike. "Argh!"

But your element of surprise was no match for their mastered agility. The knight immediately blocks your attack with a frown. You grit your teeth and slid your sword against theirs, releasing the tension.

"Please just let me thro--woah!" One by one, the assists slowly pull you down to the ground.

"H-Hey get off me!" Perhaps it was a wrong move to offense. 'Shit. They got me tight.' They successfully push you down on the ground, face first. You close an eye set near the dust of the surface as the other looks up to the approaching figure.
