I walk into Ravenel  High with a new mindset and no old bullshit from last year. I look around random ass mfs staring at me. I get to my locker and I see a note it said
"We know wtf your nasty ass been doing all summer"
Rika laughing her ass off I take the note and throw it at her. The bitch know better than to bring her Bernie Mac looking ass over here.
My best friend Teshia and my cousin Layla see me and come to my locker.
"Do y'all know wtf everybody talking about?"

"Sooo from what everybody talking about You and Rashaun was fuck buddies over the summer" Layla said
I think back to the summer time nothing went down we linked up once a couple weeks ago and nothing happened.

We go out to the Quad and find Rashaun,Tymir,Fiz and Rico smoking

"Let's get to first period kids !" We hear Mr. Murray scream from the intercom
I hear and tell them to come on. I walk to my class and sit in the back and put my headphones in and zone out to Jazmine Sullivan's Excuse Me

My music cuts off this random dude takes out my headphone

I look up and see the 6'7 tall, gold grill, tats on his arm,veins popping out. Nigga look like a grown ass man
"Ummm yeah what you need?"
He laughs a little
"I'm Tyrone but everybody calls me Ty what's your name babygirl" in a deep ass voice
I melt in my seat just from the tone of his voice
"I'm Nova... but certain ppl call m-
"Alright class lets get this started"- Ms.Hunt said
Next class starts and I zone out once again ...
A hour passes and I'm pack up my things and walk out class
"Aye Aye Nova!" Tyrone yells
I stop "yeah wassup"
"I was wondering if you tryna chill after school"
"I ain't like one of them hoes around here" I keep walking.
"I don't believe anybody besides they word I wanna vibe I'm not from around here I'm from Detroit staying with my big uncle and his wife"

We walk around the dungeon aka the basement of RH where everybody go to ditch class, have a quick fuck session or a smoke session.
We sit down on a bench and he pulls out a blunt
"You smoke?"
"I'm good got a interview in a couple of days"
"I see you tryna make that money don't let it make you"

We talk for a good two hours till the bell rings for dismissal

I grab my books he takes my book bag and we walk and wait on our Uber
It takes a good 30 minutes to get from the South side to the North
I'm sitting in the car scared asf not knowing what gonna happen when we get to my house
30 mins later we pull up to my house. It's big but not really we got like 4 bedroom a spare for company but we all got our own rooms. We walk to my room and I text my mom and tell her that I'm home.
I cut on music while Ty puts my stuff down
I turn on "2Pac- Do for Love"
"You wasn't lying this my shit"
"Yeah mine too"
He grabs my hand and starts slow dancing with me while we rap the song together and we just laughing and tripping. I lay down on the bed and turn the music down
"You good"
"Just the first day didn't go as I planned because of what mfs kept saying"

He ain't lying about that.. I turn on a movie and chill out with Ty

I laugh and open my blanket up to him. He lays down with me and I fall asleep I start dreaming about my dad and what did to my mom seeing her crying after what he did.

I woke up to Ty putting his shoes back on
"Yeah I'm sorry what's wrong?"
"You was yelling in your sleep and it's 12 am I gotta get home before my uncle start tripping"
"Okay you want me to take you?"
"You gotta car?"
"No I can take my mom's I got my permit though"
"Alright"
I slip on my UGGS and walk him out the door to the front door to my mom's Range Rover.
I start driving and think back to my dad beating on my mom and what he put her through.
"Right here this my crib"
I pull up in front of a small pretty house I put the car in park
"I'll see you at school alright?"
"Yeah you will"
I drove off and start think about Ty and smile.. I might be catching feelings for this nigga.
