About 2 nights ago, I had just got home from work and I was so tired. I got in my bed, and was about to go to to sleep but then out of no where I just decided to go on Instagram. I saw that my main character @makeupbyicess was on live 6 hours ago so I was like I'll just watch it. I'm watching comments and I see someone said, there's this book on Wattpad and your the main character.🤭

I see the users face and I'm like this looks like one of the girls who recently read my book, but I'm like no way, like there's no way she's talking about my book. It has to be someone else.
I'm sitting in my bed like she's not talking about me, she probably read another book with the same character. My heart was pounding so hard at this moment and I'm waiting for Angie to say the book name, and what does she say...

Now I'm like wtf wtf wtf omg like oh my freaking god. I think every wattpad authors dream is to be acknowledged by their main character, someone they use to portray the message they're trying to showcase. My main character sees it and she's like what book, like what are you talking about. She's like send me the link because I wanna read it, no one told me or asked for my permission to use me in a book and I completely understood where she was coming from.
I sent her a message basically saying that I was sorry, and that I didn't think this book would get as far as it has gotten. This whole book started off as a bet between me and my 2 friends jhoclate and dede, we were just joking around and were like let's see who gets the most views. We started thinking and looking on Instagram and then I found Icess, I don't know what drew me towards her but when I watched her YouTube videos I saw that she had a goofy personality like me and she was just so beautiful, so I decided to use her. My friend jhoclate ended up losing her password to her wattpad account so she just stopped writing and my other friend never wrote anything.
Once I saw that people were actually voting, watching, and commenting I soon realized that my work was good but I never thought it was good enough to reach Icess, I never thought that I could dm her and she'd text me back saying that my work is amazing and that I could continue to use her as my main character but I'd need to tag her in everything. Although she was mad about me using her photos, she understood my point of view but in the end to anyone who wants to write a book about someone you see on social media . Ask for permission first.
I was so hype about her texting me and seeing my book, that I texted my best friend and my other friends so happy like she texted me, she texted me. Next morning I wake up and BOOM

I don't feel well but this made me so happy and so appreciative of everyone who reads my book and everyone who supports me. I never imagined this happening but I'm so grateful
