Twenty-five;

It's been about a month now that i've been out of the hospital, and i havent been having as many dreams as i did before. But my remembrance of Hoseok was getting worse.

All the memories of him seemed to fade, and he seemed to fade away, too.

I was currently staying with him at his house so i could get to remember him a bit more, but he always seemed to be busier as the days went by.

He was always at work or had to go out with some friends, and so we never really chatted much.

We just seemed to distance ourselves from each other, and i wanted to know why that made me feel so empty inside.

My thoughts were corrupted when the front door opened and in appeared Hoseok.

He looked tired. His raven hair scatted, dark circles shadowing his eyes, his skin lighter than usual.

I stood up from the couch in an attempt to approach him, but he only shut the door with a mumble of an "i'm home" before heading to the kitchen.

I sighed and followed him in, only to see him drinking a glass of water.

"Is everything alright? You look tired?" My attempt of conversation hadn't seem to reach his ears fully as he set his cup in the sink and sighed.

"Just busy." He muttered and made do effort to make eye contact with me.

"Hoseok," i started, trying to get him to at least glance at me, but to no avail.

I walked to him and rested my hand on his shoulder to try and reach him easier since he seemed so distant, so closed off.

"Tell me, what's wrong?" I whispered, searching for his eyes.

He seemed to catch on in my pleading and looked at me with sad eyes. He looked even more tired when i got a closer look of him, it saddened me. I wanted to know why he was like this, so i could make him feel better.

And Hoseok seemed to notice this. How desperate he was to help, to make him feel better, so he opened up.

"My mother called me last week..." He croaked, breaking eye contact with Yoongi to look at the floor. "And said my father had sick." The raven haired's bottom lip trembled and his voice became shaky as both pairs of eyes locked again. "H-He's really sick, Yoongi. And there's nothing the doctors can do to save him."

At that point, Hoseok let his tears fall, and Yoongi couldn't help but hug him, letting Hoseok cry into his shoulder.

Yoongi ran his finger's through Hoseok's hair, remembering from the past month he has been here for that doing so always calmed the younger down, and it did. Soon, Hoseok's cries became sniffles and he pulled away.

His eyes were blood shot and tears stained his beautiful face, and the smaller couldn't help but wipe them away.

"I've been visiting him all week, staying beside his bed with no sleep, just watching him get weaker as the days go by." The boy shakily said.

Yoongi frowned. He really wanted to help, but there was nothing he could do to contribute in a situation like this. Hoseok's father was dying, and no one can save him.

"Come on, let's go rest." Yoongi said and Hoseok obliged with a nod, following the smaller out of the kitchen and to his bedroom. As they made it upstairs, they stopped in-front of their bedroom doors.

"Goodnight Hoseok." Yoongi said from his bedroom door before opening it and making his way inside.

"Wait." Hoseok stopped him. Yoongi poked his head outside of his bedroom, waiting for the raven haired to say something.

Hoseok shyly rubbed at his nape, refusing to make eye contact with the older. "Could you... sleep with me tonight?"

Yoongi was shocked at this, because Hoseok hasn't tried to pull anything while Yoongi was recovering. He decided to agree only because he knew Hoseok would need someone to comfort him in a time like this.

They both got ready for bed before crawling into Hoseok's, getting under the covers. With Yoongi's back facing Hoseok, the latter hesitantly snaked an arm around the smallers waist, pulling him closer. Yoongi blushed at this, freezing, only making Hoseok smile.

"Goodnight, Yoongi-ah~"

Wow, it's been so long since an update! Anyways, i'm planning on ending the book soon. I hope you enjoyed the chapter! Also i noticed how the point of view changes and i apologize for that 😬 sorry for any grammatical errors!
