He's going to probably eat you. Well, he might. You're not quite sure at any given moment. It's kind of disconcerting.
He's very polite and generally intelligent, and enjoys spending time with you talking about whatever happens to come up. It's really nice to not have to think super hard about topics of conversation; he flows smoothly with basically anything you might bring up.
Be wary of getting too close to him for the prospect of him nomming upon you. At least, make sure he knows that you're not offering yourself up when you just want a hug.
