Elena wakes up from her sleep with Bonnie beside her praying that the magic had worked and then smiled when she saw Elena wake up from her sleep

"Here she is." Bonnie says with a smile as Elena sat up

"Am I?" Elena asked

"I did it. I broke the spell." Bonnie grins

"How?"

"It took some time, but I think I've finally figured this witch thing out." Bonnie answers and then hug before Elena pulls back

"Where is he?" Elena asks referring to Damon and Bonnie gives her a soft smile

"He's with Caroline. Saying goodbye."

Caroline and Damon were in the Salvatore crypt in front of Stefan's grave

"Do you think it exists?" Damon asks running his fingers through the word peace on Stefan's tombstone

"Peace? I do. We'll see him again." Caroline replied leaning her head on his shoulder

"You'll see him again. Me, I'm going the other way. They'll probably reopen hell for me." Damon comments and Caroline smiles

"Don't be so sure." She says before walking out of the crypt only to see that Elena was there and covered her mouth with her hands and Damon was close behind her and froze upon seeing Elena before they were running towards one another and embracing each other with a kiss.

"I need you to know that Stefan said something to me before we parted." Elena says as Bonnie, Caroline and her sat on a small stone bench outside the crypt

"He said..." Caroline smiled with tears burning in her eyes knowing that Stefan got her message

"He got my message"

After Matt, Alaric, Bonnie Damon, Caroline and Elena left little gifts on a tree stump, the scenes moves to Elena sitting in the cemetery once again writing in her diary about what had happened in her life since waking up and that after she had finished med school she returned to Mystic Falls and married Damon and that's when a crow flew over her head indicating that Damon was near and she looked up to see him standing near a gravestone and held his hand towards her and she smiled getting to her feet and walked over to him taking his had in hers.

Elena and Damon each went their separate ways as the scene shows them in the afterlife where Elena meets up with her family and Damon walks up the steps of the Salvatore Boarding house and rings the bell only for Stefan to open the door

"Damon" he greets him with a smile and Damon smiles back

"Hello brother"

"That was one of the best most memorable episodes we've ever filmed" Nina said once the episode ended and Ian smiled

"Couldn't agree more with you angel" he replied as the closing scene ended before turning the tv off

"Let's see the fans reactions to the finale" Nina as they picked their phones up

"Listen to this one it's from @mylifetvd that episode was the most beautiful yet heart wrenching episode I have ever seen my emotions are all over the place I can't believe it's over" Nina read

"This one is from @tvd_rules101 wrote my favorite couple are together Im freaking happy yet sad that Stefan died" Ian read and Nina sighed resting her head on his shoulder

"Can't believe that was the end of the vampire diaries" Nina whispered with a sigh and Ian kisses the top of her head placing tinker phones down on the coffee table

"Neither can I but now we can focus on our new mission" Ian said and Nina pulled back with a raised brow

"Yeah and what would that be?" She asked with a teasing smile making him chuckle

"Well for starters we can start working on our wedding plans" He replied and she hummed

"That sounds like a plan" She replied with a smile leaning up and giving him a kiss on the lips

"Love you" She murmured

"Love you too"

"So have you started wedding planning yet?" Kat asked a week later over lunch and Nina shook her head

"Not yet" Nina replied and the woman across from her rose a brow in question

"And why is that?" She asked taking a sip of her drink

"We haven't really had time to sit down and just talk. I mean I'm still in the middle of filming my movie" Nina said and Kat nodded

"Well taking about weddings, I wanted to ask you personally if you'd be my maid of honor" Kat asked and Nina froze cup in the air as her eyes widened before placing the cup back in the table smiling

"Of course I would. But are you sure?" She asked and Kat nodded

"I'm positive. I would t what anyone else to be my maid of honor than one of my best friends" Kat said and Nina grinned

"Well then I know who'll be my maid of honor on my wedding" Nina said making Kat grin

"God I can't believe we're getting married" Kat sighed with a smile and Nina hummed

"Me neither. But your wedding is coming up soon and I can't wait to watch you walk down the isle and marry your best friend" Nina said

"Neither can I. You've been dreaming of that day ever since I've known you, Neens. Ian and you are the most beautiful and strongest couple I've ever met and known and seeing you both together after soon long is the greatest thing I've ever witnessed" Kat said as tears blurred her eyes and Nina sniffled as tears filled her own eyes

"I love you KitKat" Nina said and Kat sniffled

"Love you too Neens"
