2018 has been a very exciting year don't you think? I mean first co-stars and couple Nina and Ian Somerhalder tie the knot March 3rd just a week before the one year anniversary of The Vampire Diaries ending and a week ago we got the exciting news that the happy couple are expecting their first child together. So how excited are you that baby Nian is on their way?
Just four days ago, May 18th, the couple shared their baby news with the world. Since then, the tag #BabyNian has been trending worldwide across all social media platforms.
Ever since the news broke out, fans have been anxiously waiting for more pictures of the baby bump, and the soon to be parents didn't disappoint.
With everyone on bump watch it was only a matter of time before the soon to be parents were snapped and lucky for us we got the first pics.
The pair were spotted on a few different occasions shopping in Greenwich Village as well as having lunch in Vermont Ave, it looks like the happy newly weds couldn't keep their hands off each other.

If we thought the Nian couldn't be any happier then they were, with having just gotten married and already expecting their first child the pair looked to be on cloud nine and judging from the shots from the past few days, we have been proven wrong.

I mean just look how adorable they are...awwww
With Nina wearing a loose fitted sweater it was hard for anyone to see the baby bump that we all saw a few days ago on the couple Instagram posts. It didn't help that Nina had an oversized purse and always had it in front of her covering her bump. Judging from the pictures the couple shared, it looks like Nina is roughly 5-6 months along meaning she's close to having the baby. It's shocking to know that the pair had kept this secret for this long.
If you remember back around November when Nina was involved in a serious car accident that left her fighting for her life, it should come to us as no surprise that Ian is very protective of his wife specially now that she's carrying a precious cargo.

With arms outstretched in a defensive pose, Ian is in full bodyguard mode and the expected mom, who is cuddled up to Ian, clearly has nothing to worry about. It looks like hubby has her and bag well looked off.
Now the burning question on everyone's mind is, what are they having? Come on Nian tell us what you're having please we're all dying to know.
