Fans of Nina and Ian Somerhalder from all sections of the world have been glued to their phones and social media all day.
With celebrities from all walks of show business in attendance from their TVD co-stars to Nina's long time friend Julianne Hough and and Ian's former wife Nikki Reed in attendance to the couple's baby shower- that Ian had planned in secrecy to surprise his wife- we've been treated to an extensive array of Snapchats, instagram posts and tweets.
With demand for any pictures and exclusives from the event so high, paparazzi have bee stationed outside of the Somerhalder house since the early hours of the day.
It was while there that news broke out that Baby Nian may be making its debut sooner than we all thought. With people tricking in and out of the house all afternoon, paparazzi are caught by surprise when Ian's Audi Q5 Hybrid suddenly dame zooming out of their gated driveway.

It's reported that Ian's mother, Edna was in the front with the heartthrob while Nina's mother, Mihaela, was in the back with her. With many of the people attending the shower still at the residence it's rumored that Nikki reed and boyfriend Paul McDonald, their co-stars Kat Graham and Michael Malarkey, Candice king and husband Joe King as well as Julianne Hough and husband Brooks Laich left the house immediately after Ian and Nina.

One onlooker at Cedar Sinai Medical Center tweeted claiming to have seen the Somerhalder's, their mothers, and friends heading towards the exclusive maternity ward.
It's safe to say that this tweet and the news of the couple's abrupt departure form their own path has the entire fan base on the edges of their seats.
It's believed that Nina isn't due for at least a few more weeks so maybe it's only a false alarm or it could be that their little one is eager to their debut in the big wide world.
