Chapter Sixteen

Excuse the mistakes!

Santana bit her bottom lip looking at the envelope King left her this morning. She didn't know what he had up his sleeve while he was out at his club getting ready for his Grand Opening that was coming up in a few days but was nervous as she looked at the card that said Open to reveal name. Once she was about to open up the card she heard a loud crash coming from downstairs in the foyer. Placing the card in her sweatpants pocket walked down the hall and stopped at the banister seeing Dex and August looking down at the shatter pieces of the vase that was on the floor.

"What's going on?" She asked them.

"He did it"

Dex and August said at the same time pointing to each other. Santana couldn't help but chuckle and roll her eyes. "It doesn't matter just get it cleaned up before King walks through the door" she told them walking down the stairs.

"I'm going to get the broom" August said running down the hall.

"August stop running in the house!!" Santana shouted.

"Okay!!"

She looked over at Dex seeing me swiping the pieces together with his feet.

"I heard you cheating on me?" She joked with him.

"What?" He chuckled looking over at her. He caught on to what she was talking about started to smile thinking about Nyla. "Ooh nah I'm just...I don't know" he shrugged his shoulders. "I'm trying something new"

"Here Tana" August said walking back in the foyer with the broom and dustpan.

"Thanks Auggie but you know when daddy comes home he's not going to be happy?"

August nodded his head, "But it was an accident" he pouted.

Santana shrugged her shoulders, "I know but he wouldn't know that-"

"Don't worry about man I'll tell him I did it" Dex said helping Santana clean up the pieces. "Go in the living room so we can clean up"

"Be careful Auggie" Santana said watching walked into the living room making sure he didn't step on anything.

"So how was it?" She asked with a smile on her face. Over the time, Dex and Santana grew closer. He still had a small crush on her but he knew at the end of the day she will always be Kings.

He told her everything they did and Santana couldn't help but cheese. She never knew that Dex had a sensitive side to him. "Aww Dex that's sounds so cute"

"I tried I stepped out of my comfort zone I never really took anybody out on a date before"

"I can't believe you took her to a shooting range" she chuckled. "But as long as she enjoyed herself that's all that matter"

"She's different Tana she's classy, quiet she loves rap music I think you'll like her" he said seeing her wiping her face. Dex squinted her eyes, "Are you...crying?"

"I'm sorry" she sniffed wiping the tears away. "Its these damn hormones I cry over everything now literally everything" she continued. "I never heard you speak about girl like that" she chuckled. "Usually they are bitches, hoes, thots-"

"Cause those type of girls who throw themselves at me I don't have respect for obviously they just want me cause they know about me I get money and half them I don't even fuck or even pay attention too" He said cutting her off. "Besides you, Nyla was the only one who was interested about my past" he continued.

"When are you going to bring her by?"

"I'm thinking the baby shower since everyone is going to be here"
