After what seemed like an eternity, the prince finally arrived at an average 2-story house with a thick spruce layer of wall on the outside, with a dark brown colour usually  during day time and black when it was night time. It had a nice garden around it, with a wall to keep curious people away from it. At the front there was a large white gate, which stood out a lot. He approached the gate and clicked the doorbell. The soft tune could be heard from where he was. Soon enough, the gate would slowly slide open to the side, allowing Asriel to walk through. The front door opened and a red-haired girl, with big thin glasses, a braid on her hair and blue eyes, looking like she was in her late 17's, early 18's peeked out of it. Soon, she would smile and run to her friend, giving him a warm hug

"Asriel! Took you long enough, silly!" The girl grinned while the prince would just blush and awkwardly chuckle

"I-I told you I'd come didn't I?" He replied, while slowly letting go of her.

From inside her house, a hoarse male voice would shout

"Who is it, Amber?" It asked. The girl would look at the door and shout back

"It's Azzy, dad! He arrived just now!" She said, which led to a tall brown-haired man to peek out the door and smile at Asriel

"Well, if it isn't the prince himself" He said in a joking tone, chuckling afterwards

"Past few days treat you well?"

Asriel would reply

" I guess so. No trouble so far." He walked to the man and offered a handshake.

Some time later, the two teens would be talking about their daily stuff. When Asriel spoke, he talked about what happened the whole week until he got to what happened that same day

"So basically we went to Alphys today. And for some reason she started talking about soul stuff and how it worked. You know, basic things mum teaches at school" He explained

Amber chuckled softly

"But did she find out something cool about them? Like, if a human is able to have a monster soul instead of their own?" She asked curiously. Since she rarely went to meet Alphys, and every time she'd go, all they talked about was anime, she was always intrigued by the mysteries and experiments Alphys would do in her lab along with the other human scientists

"No, nothing like that" he said with a frown "Then again, I don't think you'd want to know. Too much 'yawn-inducing' shenanigans"

"Aw come on, tell me! You know I love scientific stuff" She would cross her arms, having a sulky expression

Asriel would sigh

"Alright... She found something about humans being able to use magic without any harm coming to them if used correctly" He said, trying to be as brief as possible

Amber would direct her attention to him, with a shocked expression

"Say what?!" She shouted out of impulse, both shocked and excited

"Shhhh! Don't yell about it. Remember I'm not supposed to tell anyone these things"
He whispered, trying not to get her father's attention

"But how? Is there a way for me to snap my fings and boom! a new phone on my hand?" She asked, leaning forward on her chair, curious to hear about more the subject

"Not really. That's not how magic works. Let's just say a few old files really helped her out discovering this. I can only tell you she's had a lot of luck. But magic can be dangerous Abbs. Keep that in mind" He reminded her friend of the dangers magic can pose to the caster and/or the user, which calmed her down a little

"Yeah, I guess so. But that's really cool, isn't it? Being able to cast spells and making a fireball out of thin air like you. That must be so awesome" She would ramble about it. Amber was usually a very calm and nice girl. But when something would spark her interest, she would become a Alphys nº2, except she wasn't shy at all.

"Well, who knows? Maybe you'll be able to do just that soon" The prince smiled, earning another smile from his friend. However, a loud growl would be heard. Asriel blushed hard afterwards, and Amber just laughed it off

"I guess my little goat man is hungry" She joked and Asriel just looked away, still blushing

The girl would just smile

"Let's head down. We have toasts and some juice downstairs. I know it ain't a lunch but it sure does help filling up the tum-tum" She said before opening her bedroom's door and walked out "Come on, hurry up"

Asriel looked over and smiled, getting up and following her downstairs

It was around 5pm and Alphys was still buried in her paperwork, half asleep from the hard work. She had been working all afternoon and didn't even have the time through out the day to get something to eat, not even to watch anime. She would groggly stand up and head over to her fridge, opening it up. Not much to eat other than her beloved noodles. Seriously, who keeps uncooked noodles in a fridge? She sighed and took the noodles, throwed them into a pot and poured some water and let it boil there. She closed the fridge and headed back to her table where all the work was at. She grabbed a sheet with the info on the stones and took one last look at it. After finding literally nothing relevant aside from what she already knew and worked all week on, she puts the sheet away and headed to the oven, taking the noodles back into the cup, turned the oven off and poured the packet of sauce which came with it and grabbed a fork. Then, she turned on her super computer, something she brought from the Underground, and sat down watching her favorite anime Mew Mew Kissy Cutie 2.
