Chapter 9 → Aaliyah

"Breakfast was absolutely amazing this morning baby, thank you" I whispered in Zion's ear at the table

We were currently having dinner on the fourth night of this "honeymoon" and it was all going smoothly, the girls were making sarcastic smart remarks at the boys who stood clueless as to what they were saying making them laugh even more. I was more so happy at how Ray was finally smiling.

"My pleasure princess" Zion whispered back
"Hey Mr and Mrs Kuwonu care to tell us what you two were whispering about" Kekeli smirked
"Ion remember playing broken telephone" Zion shot back at his sister
"You know since mom dropped you on your head as a kid I've always known you suffered from Runyamouthjitis" Kekeli shot back
"Battle Field" Ray yelled making us laugh

"Whatever can you pass the wine" Zion said reaching for it
"Sorry bro it's finished" Austin said
"Okay this is the fifth bottle we've ordered who's been milking the wine?" I asked

The table went silent as we all diverted our eyes to Ray
"Hey if I had 5 bottles of wine I wouldn't be sitting up" she defended
"Fair enough" Halie said
"Light weight" Nick mumbled making Ray toss a mushroom at him

"Rayaan you good?" Alexys asked
"Yeah" Rayaan hiccuped
"I think I know who's been drinking like their thirsty" Nick laughed

Rayaan looked around before looking at us
"It wasn't me" she slurred
"Surrrreee" we all said and continued to eat

→ Rayaan's POV

I woke up groaning, my head was pounding and I felt like I was thirty pounds lighter. I woke up to a note from Nick next to the bed.

Went out with the guys. Left some pain killers and water on the bedside and a bucket on the floor in case you needs hurl

I mentally smiled at his sweetness before drinking the pills and getting up. I brushed my teeth and went downstairs where the girls were sitting while watching some TV

"Morning" they all smirked
"Okay I'm not an idiot! What did I do last night" I said
"Nothing" Tiffany answered
"It's what Nick did" Alexys smirked

I groaned, face palming before taking a seat next to Ray who pulled her phone out and showed me a variety of videos.

First one was of Nick helping me back into the house, second one was of him trying to get me into bed, third one was of him removing make up from my passed out self and last one was of him giving me a kiss on the forehead after he had dressed me.

"Look at her cheesing and whatever" Charlotte teased
"Shut up!" I said looking down. I noticed I still wore Nick's shirt which made me kinda happy inside
"Maybe you should give Nick a chance, ya know he's a really sweet guy" Alexys said taking a seat next to me
"Word on the street says he's great in the sheets as well" Tiffany commented
"Okay Tiffahoe hold your horses" Aaliyah said making us all laugh

We were stopped by the boys walking into the room, holding a bunch of costumes in bags. We all turned to look at them funny

"What's the get ups for?" Aaliyah asked leaning against the couch
"So this barista was flirting with Zion-
"Is this barista a girl?" Aaliyah asked cautiously
"That's for another day" Elom piped up
"Well that day will be his funeral if you don't answer me!" Aaliyah said again
"Yes" Edwin said "now continue Brandon"
"So she invited us to this costume party tomorrow night! So we went and bought y'all some costumes" Brandon said
"Some very sexy might I add" Nick smirked

I blushed, looking down.

"Okay but who said we wanted to go" Ray sassed
"Oh we're going" Aaliyah said "I wanna meet this little barista who thinks she got the balls to flirt with my man"
"Welp" Austin said

The costume party is gonna be a little short because I wanted to add some sorta drama and stuff in there, but it's gonna be dramatic
