Chapter 30→Rayaan

The sun shone in my eyes making me groan and turn over, I furrowed my eyebrows when I felt something next to me. I wracked my brain thinking of possible things, Ray and Aaliyah had departed to their homes so there is not one person I could-

Snapping my eyes open I looked to see Nick asleep next to me. I rolled my eyes and hit his arm hoping to wake him up

"Wake up jackass" I grumbled.
"I don't wanna go to school though" Nick mumbled before turning around
"Boy I'm not yo momma getcho ass up before pour some water on you" I snapped

Nick shot up. Rubbing his eyes and looking around. His eyes landed on me as he looked me up and down slightly licking his lips.

"Take a picture it'll last longer" I said
"Well-
"It's a rhetorical saying Mara" I groaned walking downstairs

Nick followed close behind as I walked into the kitchen. I was surprised to see bags of groceries filled on the countertops. I opened my fridge to see it fully stocked. I turned to Nick to see him smiling at my confusion, before I could ask the door swung open

"You ready to hit the strip tonightttt" Ray yelled holding a bottle of bubbly "oh, my bad am I interrupting?" She said once she saw Nick and I
"See doofus, told you to knock" Aaliyah said punching her arm
"Who knocks in this day and age though and Rayaan never knocks at our houses" Ray shrugged
"True" Aaliyah shrugged

"Strip?" Nick asked after a while
"Yeah. It's Aaliyah's birthday so we're going to the strip club to throw some bills on the booties" Ray exclaimed
"Uhhh no" Nick said making me furrow my eyebrows
"And who died and deemed you my dad?" I asked
"The baby in your stomach is mine, which makes me it's father. I forbid the baby to go and you can't exactly remove the baby from your stomach so it forbids you" Nick grinned

I mentally cursed for his accuracy
"You missed one thing" I said
"What's that?"
"I DON'T CARRRREE" I yelled
