Chapter 59 → Manai

This morning was very awkward, the group had now been split into two. It was Edwin, Brandon, Nick, Rayaan, Ray, Kairo and myself versus Aaliyah, Ansley, Austin and Zion. The divide caused tension, not only between the girls but the boys were suffering. Not being able to speak to Zion was killing Edwin and I could see.

It was completely silent during breakfast, apart from Kairo's cute giggles and Ray's baby talk while she fed him.

"Okay guys, since today is our second last day here at sandy Miami I thought we should just have a little boat party, so grab your swim suits there's a boat waiting for us with some booze and people" I said clapping my hands together
"I'll sit this one out, Kairo probably won't like the loud music and he gets restless pretty easily" Rayaan said
"No, I'll stay with Kai, you can go have fun with Nick" Ray smiled
"Ray, you sure? There's booze you know" Aaliyah asked
"I'm sure I'll cope with just the juice here" Ray said rolling her eyes
"Thanks!" Rayaan smiled before hopping upstairs and getting ready

"That means poor Brandon has to stay as well" Ansley said in a sad tone
"No, he can go because unlike you I don't dictate my mans life" Ray replied sassily
"Oh is-
"Ansley, I'm staying because I want to now drop it" Brandon said harshly making Ansley surrender

*2 hours into the boat party

The party was off the hook as everyone had wound down and was partying. Ansley and Austin sat in the corner like prudes while Aaliyah and Zion partied although she had held the same glass in her hand since we arrived which Zion didn't question that much

I saw Aaliyah whisper something to Zion before he nodded, made his way to Austin and dapped him up. He looked this way to Edwin before grabbing Aaliyah's hand and leaving. A big sigh left Edwin's mouth before he retreated from the dance floor and walked to the any bedrooms here. I set my drink down before following him

"Eddy" I said softly entering the room. Edwin lay face down on the beds
"Go away" he said
"Okay Edwin firstly we're not twelve and secondly when have I ever listened to you" I said earning a laugh from Edwin "see that's the laugh I havn't heard in a while"

Edwin smiled before facing me
"We're miserable, never in our lives since we met each other have we stayed as long as an hour without talking to each other. I mean yeah Brandon's fun and all but I need Zion's vibe to balance it out and Austin's as well" he sighed "please fix things with the others, we can't keep going like this"

I smiled gently, placing a kiss on Edwin's lips and straddling him, surprisingly the kiss became more heated as we both realised we hadn't felt each other in a hot minute. I pulled away from Edwin's undoing my bikini top

"I'll make peace after I make babies"
