Chapter 47 → Rayaan

I walked downstairs to see Nick and the boys playing some sorta game on TV. Making me chuckle softly as I walked into the kitchen. The girls were standing by the stove. Well Aaliyah was cooking while Ray yelled instructions at her

I chuckled, grabbing a piece of cheese off the counter, Ray turned to see me chewing it. She opened her mouth to scold me but I stopped her with a lift of a finger

"You really wanna start a screaming match with a pregnant girl?" I asked her
"You're right" she said turning to sit on the counter
"Fuck you mean. I'm always right" I smirked making the girls laugh

Just then Brandon walked into the room. He walked over to the fridge, grabbing a bottle of water before settling between Ray's legs but not before giving her a kiss

"You two seem awfully cozy together" I pointed out
"I mean we are boyfriend and girlfriend so how else are we supposed to act?" Brandon sassed
"Oh Mr and Mrs Arreaga are back together!" Aaliyah yelled
"Not buying it" I said slamming my hands down "Seems awfully fast after the shit that you put her through and the shit she's been through"

Ray took a deep breath before looking at me
"Last time I saw Tevin, I worked myself into a depression. And that was 2 years ago. I'm stronger now. So we decided to put all of it behind us." She explained
"Including Charlotte?" I asked cocking an eyebrow at Brandon
"I mean I still plan on being in my babies life but she's nothing more then the mother of my child" Brandon shrugged
"And Ray's Okay with this?" I asked
"Yes detective Mara" Ray laughed

"And the baby?" Aaliyah asked
"We're gonna bury her next weekend in Spain" Ray said
"Why Spain?" I asked
"Because I'm from there" Ray justified
"Okay. Okay. I'll back away-

"You cheated!" Nick yelled storming into the kitchen
"Or you can't accept defeat Mara" Zion shrugged
"I'll beat you son!" Nick threatened
"Whatchu finna beat! My knees?" Zion asked making us all laugh

I walked over to Nick, wrapping my arms around his waist and giving his back a kiss, instantly relaxing him under my touch
"Can we all just calm down please!" Aaliyah said
"I'm calm. Ask the garden gnome" Zion laughed
"Ha ha" Nick said sarcastically
"Aww now you butt hurt baby?" I asked pouting at Nick
"For you. Never" Nick smiled widely before kissing me earning "ewwws" from the kitchen
