Chapter 38→ Brandon

"Brandon slow down!" Rayaan said from the backseat

I simply ignored her and listened to the GPS. Once I pulled up to a house in some quiet neighborhood, I got out of the car. I walked to the front door and contemplated knocking

"Don't" Nick said "might be rigged"

I nodded before kicking the door in. I walked through every room yelling Ray's name out loud. I went into the hallways, yelling into the rooms before I got to the end, I went to open the door but it was locked

"Brandon I didn't find her" Aaliyah said running up to me
"I think she's in here" I said
"Then open it!" Austin said
"Dipshit don't you think I tried" I snapped
"Guys! Nows not the time! My best friend could be behind that piece of wood" Rayaan said
"Didn't I tell yo ass to stay in the car" Nick said
"And who do you think you are?" Rayaan snapped back
"Your baby daddy" Nick resorted

I simply rolled my eyes and went to kick in the door. As the door swung back I was met by a horrendous sight.

Ray slumped on the floor as she clutched her side. She sat in a pool of what seemed like her own blood. I immediately rushed to her side, holding her wound

"Ray, look at me" I said as she slipped in and out of consciousness "call the damn ambulance!" I snapped at the rest

Aaliyah came to my side to help me keep Ray awake as Nick held a sobbing Rayaan.

"I-I'm sorry" Ray strangles out
"No baby, what are you sorry about- I should be sorry here" I said stroking her cheek as tears fell from her eyes
"I-I-
"Shhh, don't talk" I hushed as I rocked her. I noticed her eyes close making me panick
"Ray! Ray no no no no no! Stay with me baby!"

She opened her eyes and mouthed "I love you" before slumping completely into my arms
