Chapter 32 → Brandon

I sat in bed, staring blankly at the wall. We had given up looking for Ray a few nights ago because we thought she had gone home with some random man and hooked up

My stomach churned at the thought. She hasn't answered any of my calls so I figured it was maybe because she was ignoring me or too engrossed in the throws of passion

I shot up and ran to the toilet, emptying the contents of my stomach in there before washing my mouth out.

"Brandon" Nick said on the side of the door "bro, we're having a meeting downstairs we need you to come out"
"Okay" I answered blandly

I wasn't in any mood to do anything. I haven't been for the past few days. The boys have been trying to get me out of bed and the girls have been reassuring me that Ray wouldn't do such but something in my heart was telling me otherwise

I threw on a shirt and walked downstairs to see the gang sitting with worried faces on.

"Look if you guys are worried about me I. Swear I'm-
"Ray's missing" Rayaan blurted out

I froze in my step, blinking a few times as though I wanted to erase her words from existence.

"What do you mean she's missing?" I asked
"She's gone! Poof! Vanished!" Aaliyah said
"It's been four days since she's last called so we figured she was doing her weird social media hiatus things so we drove by her house when she wasn't there we drove by her parents. They hadn't heard from her in the last 4 days either" Rayaan explained

I sat on the last stair. Tugging on the roots of my hair
"I thought you said she left with some random"
"That was to get us home sooner-
"So you practically lost her!" I snapped at Rayaan

"Look I don't know who you're talking to but-
"YOUR SMART MOUTH ISN'T GONNA BRING HER BACK IS IT NOW!" I said charging towards her only to be pulled back by Zion

"Look man I know you're mad but this isn't gonna help bring Ray back" Zion explained
"Did you call the police" I asked
"Yes and they said they're gonna do everything they can to find her" Aaliyah explained
"Bullshit" I spat

I grabbed my keys and slipped my shoes on. I rushed out of the house and into my car ignoring the rest of their calls for me to come back.

I was determined to find Ray.
