Chapter 36:

(Y/n's Pov)

Me, Craig, Evan, aunt Maria and uncle Tony stayed with my dad for a while until visiting hours were over. So we headed home and Craig wanted to hang out with Evan and Suni,so we thought that it would be a good idea to just chill in Evan's place.

Evan was cool with it, since he has nothing else to do, and the group is either busy with their family or with homework.

Suni came by a few minutes later and us four went to Evan's house to just relax and think about what happened today.

"Today's been.... eventful, to say the least." Evan said as we sat down in his game room. He was on the chair with wheels on it and Craig and Suni are seating on a couch that can fit literally five to six people, but I was sitting on the bean bag cause... its a bean bag, and I like the bean bag.

I nodded my head and Craig and Suni said "Yup." at the same time.

Suni went on her phone while Craig and Evan were talking. Seconds later, Craig's phone beeped and I wondered if it was from Suni.

He looked at it while Evan was blabbering about something and I could see he pulled his eyebrows together in confusion. He quickly typed something and this time, Suni's phone beeped. She, again,typed something and Craig read it. Th is time, Craig turned to Evan and said. "Hey, Evan, I, uhh, forgot something at my house. Yeah! I forgot something at my house an i need you to come with me to find it."

He gave an awkward smile towards Evan and i could sense that Suni wanted to facepalm cause this is awkward as hell. Non the less, Evan still agreed, ignoring Craig's awkwardness. They went out and said that they'll be back in a few minutes. Now it's just me and Suni.

"Talk to me." She suddenly said while turning towards me

I looked a her confuse and asked. "What do you mean?"

She huffed a little, then said. "About you and Evan almost kissing."

When she said that, I cant' help but blush. "H-How do you k-know about that?"

"From Kelly. Now," She propped her chin on her hand. "Spill the beans. Lets do some girl talk."

Should've known. Kelly is a sweet sweet person, but holy fuck does she have a big mouth. Still, I couldn't help but blush.

"Well, uh, I actually don't know why we almost kissed, it just kinda.... happened, you know?" I can't help but stutter at some parts. It only made my blush worse.

"Well, to me, and possibly the others, think that you two are....." I could see that she purposely trailed off.

"We are what?" I couldn't help but ask.

She looked like she was thinking about it, then she squealed making me jump. "Maybe you two are in love!"

I just stared at her with wide eyes and a face that was possibly as red as a firetruck. I mean, me? And Evan? In love? That sounds quite.... fuck, I don't even know what to say.

"I... I d-don't have feelings f-for him! I-I just find him quite.... wonderful." I said while looking down. I was totally embarrassed. I don't know what to do, I don't know what to say. God, help me.

"There's no need to hide your feelings, Y/n. Love can come from anywhere. And I can see that love is forming between you two. And I hope you'd accept it." She gave a sweet, big smile towards me, and I gave a small one in return.

I thought about something for a minute, then I let out a sigh."If we're being honest, I have been liking Evan's presence recently and I, you know, really like, even though it's embarrassing, I really like him calling with cute pet names." I said with a smile on my face while looking down.
